Mr. Kilmer, I called my local mechanic shop and asked them how much for a fuel filter change in my 07 Camry base model with 79,500 miles for preventative maintenance. Wife bought a small RV based on a 2000 Ford E350 Super Duty 6.8 V10 Took it on a long trip, at the end of the first day it had a strange missfire that went away. The next day it started missing going up a hill. Acted to me like a lack of fuel. Replaced the fuel filter in the parts store parking lot.Ran fine most of the next day. Starting missing again under a load.Took it to a Ford dealer. They said it had a miss on one cylinder. They changed one spark plug and one coil. I planned to repace the rest when we got home. Ran good the next day started running rough toward the end of the day. Got it to an independant shop. The replaced the other 9 spark plus and coils. When they were done it still had a miss and they said it needed a catalytic convertor. We got the rig to our destination. I dropped the convertor for a visual inspection. Found nothing wrong with it. On the way home it , was intermittantly running bad. Took it to another ford dealer where they determined it had a bad fuel pump, which turned out to be the problem all along. Now running great. Was an expensive trip.

Personally I chalk up the crappy traffic in Charlotte to yes the gridlock, but also we have an abnormal amount of New Jersey transplants and those people drive like 485 is the Fury Road. Atlanta, on the other hand, has much thicker traffic but for the most part,I found drivers down there to be more considerate. The law they have that the left lane is for passing and then you GTFO of it ASAP helps a bunch. In Charlotte people camp the left lane even if they're going under the speed limit. It's insane.
