AL & Gina if that Bobcat Radio is Bluetooth capable? Use a Bluetooth Ear 👂 buds or headset while operating. Or also if it has a jack port for a headset cord to plug into. Then you’d still get some use out of the on board radio 📻.

Good luck with that. Every Bluetooth radio I’ve seen ONLY lets you INPUT to the radio from another device ( eg phone). They dont output to earbuds, headphones, etc.

When I was watching you clear brush and you where talking about snow removal I was wishing you had a snowblower. We have a very similar driveway except ours is even narrower (I think). We swear by the snowblower!! It tosses the snow out into the woods rather than big banks all the way down the driveway. We only have a quarter mile long driveway but we have an additional mile of paths and trails we maintain on the homestead. We use a blower on our JD riding lawnmower. Works fantastic!!! Down and back and done! I’m kinda in love with that little machine though 😊 perfect for the ladies ❤

Al, on those electrical connections, get you some die-electric grease and put in the connection. Use it on all DC electric connections. And yes, I do think you need to replace your lights with LED's, and possibly add some more lights. Because I KNOW, you will be out early-thirty, blowing snow! I love the machine and can't wait to see you putting it to work on one of the up coming deep snows!

Al will need to figure out the pin-outs with a schematic and/or trial and error - he should be able to get the new harness to work with some detective work on his part. If anyone can do it, our Al can!

Excellent advice regarding the electric grease - one of the main things they stressed with our Boss plow....

Yes, please put all the dielectric grease in all plugs. When bobcat service tech shows up like me, I’ll ask how much grease you used, I’ll tell you need a chassis harness, cab and engine harness. Bobcat only uses dielectric grease where needed.

AL….now THAT is just cool! I’ve never seen a bobcat like that before! Great BUY, and putting Nokias tyres is a GREAT choice, I’ve run that brand on my SUVs and truck for decades. You will not be disappointed in their performance.

Your new to you Cat looks like the cat's meow. lol With a fully enclosed cab , complete with heat and air conditioning. There are also lots of features for you to play with. Have fun. When snow blowing you want to check which way the wind is blowing. Then throw the snow in the same direction the wind is blowing so the wind does not blow the loose snow back onto the driveway. You got the snow blower just in time for the up coming snow storm. I hope that your family will be warm and cozy during the snow storm. All stocked up on hot chocolate and coffee ?

the chute looked like it needs a front side. if you watch the clip alot of snow was coming out of the front of the chute before hitting the top direction plate. i think a tube with a smooth arc would be better. you dont seem to need a hugely high throw, more distance. as such i suspect a shorter curved low friction plastic may serve you better.

Seeing that he has a hard time keeping the lights maintained on Ginas Subaru, Al may need to hire a mechanic to do routine maintenance on all of the equipment.

From what I've experienced, the electrical controls for bobcat attachments are simply servo controls that will redirect the hydraulic fluid you are already running through the attachment. In other words,, you need to hold down the control to operate the auger, and hit the electric switch to redirect the flow to the chute at the same time and you should be able to get it to work. Good luck and looks like a lot of fun.
