My stars! I can't imagine having 3 cats at the same time. I have enough on my hands with just one! My last black cat, Frankenstein, was very mellow and loved to curl up in strange places. The one I have now, Houdini, can be hell on wheels! There are lots of black and some black and white cats in my neighborhood. And, yes, my boys were fixed!

Good Morning! I've seen people tie a stout rope to an old tire, then float the rope through the culvert. Once the rope is through, tie it to your mini-ex and pull the tire through the culvert. Works really good for mostly plugged culverts.

Some others have suggested going on a hunt for those other culverts and getting them as cleaned out as you can before the real thaw. You might want to put a fiberglass pole at one or both ends of them so they'll be easier to find the next time the beavers get busy! Kittens are so SO helpful when you're trying to do something 🤣🤣

You should remove the culvert pipe in the spring and reset it. Sink holes will continue, otherwise. Also consider rock head walls. Less surface for the twigs and branches to catch on.

Good morning, Lumnah family. Glad to see Arlo being happily exploratory. Al, if you don't mind some advice, it might be a worthwhile project to do a walk-through of the drainage ditches on both sides of your road, so you know where all the culverts are, and can unplug the ones that need it. Then, either late this spring or summer, climate permitting, do a re-dig of your drainage ditches to make sure the flows are as they should be. This way, you'll only have to keep an eye out for beavers, instead of other terrain-based drainage obstructions.

hello from the Netherlands Lumnah Family . hi All this is just a tip for the next time a colvert is full : put your shovel in the middle of the colvert , then position the mini digger so that the arm of the mini digger is centered over the colvert , then remove the bucket from your mini digger (because you don't want to dig up anything like the colvert) , and then pull the stuff out of the colvert with the thumb of the mini digger . for extra goodness maybe put a camera (Go-pro) opposite the colvert on a tripod and then connect to an app on your phone or tablet (larger image) to see the height of your thumb of the mini digger that you with the thumb IN the jacket to be able to pull the rubbish out . and for the mess IN the colvert : maybe make some kind of "anchor" something with a long rope that floats , then let the rope go through the current through the colvert to the other side and then pull the "anchor" through it on the rope . pull and pull the junk out. I'm already looking forward to your next colvert video haha thanks for the video Al . Sincerely Hollandduck

While Tanner and the kittens are always inspecting what you're doing, Pluto looks bored to death.

Just a suggestion while I don't have beavers I do deal with a few culvert washouts and undercuts. After the water level drops get a couple sheets of plywood and make a cutout that fits around the culvert snugly you can use spray foam to fill any gaps, and fill all around with concrete this will flow into the gaps and also let you form a curb on both sides, costly yes but as I like to say one and done. good luck

On those particular cabinets I've found that if you run glue down the side of it and in where those cams go and when you lock it down it'll last a whole lot longer

The cabinet looks nice and will do until Al makes you a nice one. Great job on that culvert, Al. I bet the loggers could fix that up for you once the ground freezes again. They build roads all the time. God bless all y'all.

Al, have you ever watched post 10 videos? 90% of them are clearing road drains and culverts. He uses a regular metal rake or a 4 prong cultivator to clear them. Very satisfying watching a clog get cleared. Just a thought.

Take a line inside pipe ... in the middle insert an old tire and pull it to the otherside. To assist pulling the line use a collapsing fishing pole to hook up line and an easy carry around. Good luck .

You two are in for a surprise with the kitchen cabinet you just assembled, because there is another piece coming to make it look like a hutch! And it’s about twice as tall compared to what you have now! It’s call the Home Kitchen Dining Hutch with Wine Storage…Good luck!
