How interesting! I had one of Beatrix Potter's great nieces as a patient over here in America. She had several first editions of her books she said. She also played the piano beautifully at the nursing home. This has been 25 years ago, now, but as you love all things Beatrix, I thought I'd share.

I believe that something led you to buy the box. Maybe Beatrix herself, because you of all people would treasure it. Michael, the garden outside the greenhouse is beautiful, can't wait to see how you finish the inside. The color is perfect. I know it is alot of work and we will always stick around whenever you do post but, please show us the finished product when done. We never did get to see the finished project of your bedroom upstairs, the last we saw it, you were still putting up insulation and drywall. Hopefully, the horses will not eat your blueberries in passing to the stalls. The box is beautiful, I find it so cool that it came to you a very special fan of Beatrix Potter. Perhaps a box that allows freedom of expression, fully accepting of all accidents, mishaps, mishandling, with little to no consequences would let you be you, however that manifests. Dear Michael thank you for taking time out of your busy life to update us on your greenhouse renovation and what your plans for it are too. I think having an area towards the back close to your cottage as an art studio with the wood burner from your grand parent is a grand idea plus plants and such in pots is a bonus for added beauty. The frame of the greenhouse and the new glass is just beautifully done and when finished will be stunning. Lasting many many years. The gardens planted by you and mum are looking so good.
