If the Lions want to win, they should man-up and play the home-weather advantage like Green Bay and Chicago. In the NFC North, teams not playing in domes (or Florida) have gone to 11 Super Bowls, and teams playing in a dome have 0 Super Bowl appearances. Likewise, kids who play mostly outside are tougher than kids who play mostly indoors.

I remember watching this game over my friend house and when it got to the kick I'm like I dunno if he is going to make it and my friend was like we are about to see a new NFL longest field goal kick. And we did. We went absolutely nuts when he hit this kick. It was unbelievable. We needed Tucker to win us that game and he did like he has many times before. The man is a legend.

The play clock was running prior to the refs spotting the ball.. the play clock should start after the refs spot the ball so in this case im not sure why the play clock started when the ball wasnt even spotted yet

The reason why the casters counted down, and even then didn't argue about it, was because they cast by watching on screens, not the field. When he counted down, he looked, and saw that the stadium clock had more seconds in it, then the network clock. And so they just ignored it.

Anyway, it's a lie because the NFL explained that the ref was allowed the 1.6 seconds after the play clock expired to look at the clock, look at the center to see if the ball was snapped, and reach behind his back to pull out the flag.

This kind of play only happens to the Lions. You hold them to an almost impossible field goal and the guy kicks it short but somehow gets the bounce. Kinda like the Rodgers touchdown that wasn't but somehow 3 refs didn't have the sack to give the Lions the victory on MNF.

Is the clock on the screen the official clock or just what the network is putting up there? The delay of game call is that the official sees it at zero, then looks to see if the ball has been snapped and only then calls it. Just sayin'...but it doesn't matter since it didn't get called and Tucker nailed it. Nobody is going to be talking about a non-call tomorrow, just the FG.
