My roommate in college who was an excellent guitarist made this song the first thing I ever did on guitar. I learned this song from George in the '80's a class he gave - I was watching You teach this song, I thought I was in that class again, You seem to just nail what ever part You're playing. I watched 100's of players play this song and most of them do not hammer the beginning part to the solo, nor do they do the trips with 3 fingers(17:16) like You did (even I cheat at that and HE SHOWED ME HOW!!!) Carl, You Sir, are an AMAZINGLY talented guitarist.

Thank you for this tutorial, Carl! This is the second Dokken song I tried to learn 20 years ago - emphasis on "tried" as I gave up after a while as I couldn't hear all the chords. 20 years on and that 8-fret stretch is still out-of-stretch for me, so I replace it with a tap!
