You were lucky. I lived in Brisbane, Australia in the 80s. No one listened to this except a few of us. Never played on radio, never on TV, no tours. I had long hair at high school and university and was treated like a loser. Tough days, but worth it.

@michaelbackhus1923
@michaelbackhus1923 2 ай бұрын
Well......They were just happy to be opening for any band in the 80s. He mentioned being out opening for Aerosmith so the audience would believe they're real rockstars too. A possible shot at Tom Hamiltons sloppy seconds if they could hook up with Aerosmith's rejected groupies. Nobody in the band could write songs so now they have a worthless song catalog. That's why they play mostly bars and town fairs for drinks and pocket change. They never could get to the next level. Didn't have a wow factor at all. But, hey.....at least they were able to open for the stars. That's successful-ish.

Dude! You are the same age as me! 52 years? I missed alot of hard rock music because I first liked pop in general in like 86 and 87. Then my ears told me I wanted more heavy music. Then I learned what metal was all about. Late 80s with bands like this, skid row, the lepps, the crue, etc. Went to about 40 concerts in my lifetime. 80s will rock forever. Will never let this stuff go all my life!! Thanx, Darryl in McHenry Illinois.

@MisterGuitarItalia what's talented about having to hire people to run the light show for you? Much smarter to have it done by the laptop. Easier to have effects done by the computer so you don't need loads of extra length of cable that can fail. Again nothing talented about clicking an effects peddle. In ears save your hearing so your not deaf and can't make music anymore. Again nothing talented about losing your hearing. You clearly never played in a band.
