I bought the new cd two weeks ago and it’s very interesting and inspirational. I love it. Anyway I’ve been listening to ”Breaking the Chains” every morning in my car driving to work for like three weeks now. I bought it 11 years ago when I became a Dokken nut. It gets my spirit up every morning to teach college students, so thank you Don. Your music makes me prepare better lessons in physics and chemistry so you are indirectly the reason future Finnish engineers know their craft. 🤘🏼

Love DOKKEN! Please do not take this wrong, Don, but I saw some recent live shows from Dokken in the last 5 years or so, and I must say your vocals are tired. Just like Paul Stanley of KISS. Your still on of my favorite singers! I'm not sure why the vocals are so weak,(age?) or what, but I felt bad to hear the live songs did not sound good vocal wise. Just being honest. I still listen to the album Tooth and Nail quite a bit. I was 14 when it came out. I am 52 now. I play guitar and bass. I know that Tom K. of Cinderella had a rough time singing as well a few years back. Please do not take what I am saying the wrong way. I was just really upset to hear the sound of the vocals on the live videos I saw. I believe Rob Beach was on guitar in that show. Just know that you made one hell of a mark on Rock with the guitar blazing George on your side in the early days. "Paris is Burning" on the first album live still rocks my ass off!!!! Blessings Don.

@mrmopar53 жыл бұрын
@@technerdbird I am sure. I just felt bad to see the vocals on a few of You Tube videos of the last few years and he sounded really bad. It is just like if your hand gets arthritis and you cannot play the songs anymore. Guitarists are easy to replace in a band, but the singer is hardest! I really love Dokken!! I was not being an ass, just honest.
