Maybe thats the wrong way of putting it but its definitely more on the unusual side. Especially if it pertains to fetishes and what not. If its the same gender its much more common to bring up those topics with friends. I have friends from both genders and I can tell you a lot more often my male friends are much more willing to talk about these topics with me than my fem friends.
