A side project consisting of the "Older Sisters" of Gacharic Spin and Fuki, the Vocalist of Unlucky Morpheus (at the time the vocalist of Light Bringer). The Bassist is F Chopper Koga and the bass is very prominent in Gacharic Spin songs (recommended songs are "Mindset" and "I Wish I"). The "Older Sisters" are the members of Gacharic Spin that have been in the band since at least 2012, the "Younger Sisters" are the members that have joined since 2019.

The bassist is F Chopper Koga. The queen of slap and pop bass . You can find her work on youtube if you search with "F Chopper Koga".

Everything Doll$boxx did was amazing! They only made one album and one EP and every song is well worth reacting to!

and how about the fact that EVERY song from both the cd and ep had an mv made for it ? how many bands have ever done that before ? none that i know of. i have both and still play them a lot. now it's time for them to do one more collaboration to make it a trifecta !

Koga is one of the best bass players there is, definitely check out her main band Gacharic Spin. Seeing her play live is one of my concert highlights. Hana the drummer is doing the screams, and plays guitar now as well as signing.

You love the bass and this bassist - you've got to check out Mindset by Gacharic Spin (the main band for these musicians)!

Love your reaction Millie! This is a collab between Fuki, the lrad singer of Unlucky Morpheus, and Gacharic Spin w. Koga-bass, Hana-drums (yes she growls and scream), Tomo zo-guitar, Oreo-keyboard.

Check out there live version. It's less "produced" and sounds more natural. But both versions are just awesome

bassist koga michiko is widely considered one of japan's best bassists and has been for a long time. this mv is from 2012 and she has been with GACHARIC SPIN since 2009 and before that with a band called PINK PANDA from 2002. 22 years of playing for her and she is now 37 years old. a slap specialist

Doll$boxx is my second favorite Japanese band (after Band Maid). Suggest Fragrance and Lone Star. They are actually Gacharic Spin with Fuki as lead singer because the project was put in place when their lead singer got ill and they needed to fill dates. Thus they picked up the vocalist from Unlucky Morphius and did the tour with new material. Gacharic Spin is my 4th favorite all-female Japanese bands, by the way. Third place is Hanabie. The bassist is actually the band founder, Koga. My favorite member of this band is Hana, who is unique and hot on that drum while also able to deliver really good vocals, regardless of how she is asked to deliver them. Your comment about Japanese bands letting the bass have some space is spot on. In American bands the bassist is almost always an afterthought, and in most cases told to sit down and not make a mess (either proving the bassist is 2nd fiddle or wasting the talent). The exceptions are, of course, legendary: Primus, Chili Peppers, Tool....

Honestly to my ears this sounds like a deliberately overproduced pop song trying to make it sound metal, and the shame is it's overshadowing some impressive musicians.

You got a point there, because the video is literally an ironical take on overproduced idol pop culture ;)
