Doll Custom: Hidden Rainbow Hair Reroot + Face-up

In this video I finally share the customization process of my DC Superhero Girl doll into this Rainbow girl. For this doll, we decided to give her hidden rainbow hair and rainbow eyeshadow to match.

For the reroot, I used silver hair from www.Dollyhair.com in the colors Silver Bullet and Ice white. The rainbow part were rerooted using hair fom Etsy seller CustomDollHairAU (etsy.com/shop/customdollhairau).
For the repaint, I sent this doll to ArianasLadies328, so she could give this doll a rainbow face-up. She did an amazing job and I am absolutely in love with this doll. For see more of her work, you can visit: ArianasLadies328

She turned out lovely. Sorry for the issues with the first head you were going to use. You can try the Acne Cream method to remove the marker stains on her face. If the Acne Cream has 10% solution of benzoyl peroxide it will work. What you do is put the cream on the marked area leave it over night, clean it off and repeat until the marks are gone. I've done this on some of my dolls and it works beautifully.

You can remove the ink with non acetone nail polish remover, she came out gorgeous!

You know ... all you need is some nail polish remover or pure acetone to remove the old paint from the doll's head. Then covering it up won't be an issue, you could paint it another color or leave it entirely unpainted. Just sayin'. Also, have you tried using pimple cream ( Clearasil, Oxy 10, or some type of benzoyl peroxide cream ) to remove the ink stains from the dolls face? That has always worked for a lot of people. It removes ink, magic marker, fabric dye stains, you name it.

instead of painting the top of the head just use acetone to remove the paint

Great metamorphosis of the doll. Congrats! I have 3 questions - does the Fabri-Tac glue tend to leak through the holes in dolls' heads after some time? Does it make the hair sticky/oily? Does it react with the vinyl (which the dolls' heads are made of) after some time? Thanks in advance for your help. Paul.

@@TheDollBoy If Saran hair in black shade is not out of stock, saran hair would be perfect with your last Rapunzel doll, since you told me that Saran hair is temporary out of stock when you try to order it 🙂😉 because nylon hair is the worse quality, but most nylon hair is softer and shiny like saran hair. More specifically it has to have at least 10% benzoyl peroxide. Oxy Acne cream is one you can use. I use it to remove stains.
