@DollAfterlife Жыл бұрын
I'm happy I could help!😊 All of my techniques for pattern drafting are coming from human clothing, so you can definitely use them for making your own clothes! You might also find interesting my video about Karl Heisenberg. I made a proper trench coat for him and showed how to make a raglan sleeve. These are quite challenging, and unfortunately there's not so much information online. And lady Dimitrescu is wearing a pretty interesting dress, it took me 6 days to finish, but I'm very proud of it 🤓

This series is absolutely amazing! I'm obsessed! I would love to see you take on one of my favorite kaidan stories, called the "Teke-Teke." Its name, I believe, represents the sound made of her lower half scraping against the pavement as she chases young men walking home at night. There are many representations of it, but most say it was a girl who ended up falling from a bridge into a railway (either by accident, by her own volition, or she was bullied and pushed) which severed her in half. She is incredibly fast, and you can only run home and lock your door to keep her for getting you, but it won't stop her from scratching at the door.

I have only used Castle for the calligraphy pens, and they are good. I do not know the price point for that line, but I will say for primary colors it is usually worth it to go with the more high end product you can afford (ie you cannot make red, yellow, blue from other colors in the line, but you can add cheaper secondary colors to high quality pigments to make what you want). I have been pretty happy with liquitex here in the US for hobby quality colors, but I do not know how they are internationally.
@DollAfterlife Жыл бұрын
I usually use acrylic paint from Schmincke and Windsor&Newton (both are professional quality) as the first layer and then add cheaper paint for effects (like metallic or iridescent) I believe Amsterdam is supposed to be hobby quality colors, but I think their white paint is much better than W&N. In general I think paint with effects is always a bit transparent. I think if I mix them with pigmented paint, all of the glitter will be gone 🥲 (still angry with castle arts for ruining the red though. Luckily I found the way to handle it🤣)

U like the doll so much! But what mass did you use for the mask? Is it a polymer clay? But how??? It's bakeable, how haven't you melted the face?
@DollAfterlife Жыл бұрын
It's apoxie sculpt. You mix 2 compounds together, and then it starts hardening over time due to the chemical reaction. I use it everywhere, because you don't need to bake it and it doesn't shrink unlike some other materials 😁 also sticks well to plastic 🤌🏻
