It would be lovely to see the doll repair and given back to the Lady.

Yes, I want to see that also. Alas, I can't find it anywhere. I really want to see Susie walk again.

@@estherwoolley6612 Thank you! I would love to see it. It's such a terrific show...I'm surprised it's not hugely popular in the US. The vibe is similar to Antiques Roadshow...but I like Repair Shop better. :)

This is why i started my own doll and toy repair service, the memory of childhood is embedded into our favorite toys. Something that just cant be replaced

I was born in upstate New York and I too contracted polio. My legs hurt so much. Then my mom herd about Sister Kenny in Australia. Warm compresses were the only relief I got. Thru the years, I managed and did sports. In my late 40s I was sitting on the floor and couldn’t get up. Post polio syndrome. It comes and goes. I keep my legs warm and remain active but the pain never really leaves. I’m so happy Susie was able to give confidence and help to this lady. This is a debilitating disease with really no cure.🙏🏻🇺🇸

My doll which was exactly the same was called Pamela, I fell out of a car at 6 years old, My Dad promised me if I could walk down to the kitchen window without the cooper stick we used for washing He would buy me a Walking and Talking Doll. I did it, I had ripped most of my knee out when I opened the door which opened out into the wind, it just pulled me out of the car and I fell on gravel chips on the road. I will never forget the day It was ANZAC day, we had gone up to watch Dad March in the Parade. 66 years ago.

It’s wonderful to see the show has been picked up by Discovery Channel in the U.S. it’s highly edited to make room for all the commercials but something is better than nothing in this case.

Why can't we see the doll after it was repaired? Very frustrating!
