The single file holder you are using for your planner can be attached to the inside of a kitchen cupboard to store tinfoil, plastic wrap, wax & parchment paper rolls. Cheers Susan

I use binder clips for my partially used up bagged items. ^_^ Dollar Tree has them in ten packs. They clamp things tightly shut, don't have a high profile and the fact that they are entirely metal helps them last a looooong time.

I love the organization videos! I would use the mail filer as house for my curling irons and combs/brushes under the sink! Love the hard pencil case as a makeup storage in your bag. I need that. I also like the large plastic pouches that I'd use to store my knitting on the go!

I love those fabric drawers! I have them in my daughters closet, and my own for clothes that are too big (in her case), diapers, extra packs of wipes, shoes so we don't have tons of baby shoes lying around. Also in the bathroom for our different essentials so my stuff and my boyfriends stuff can be out and on the shelf, but not just shoved wherever.

I love organizing and buying different containers and organizing tools. However, sometimes for me it defeats the purpose of trying to be minimalist and organized because I end up with many containers and no idea where to use them!! You gave some great suggestions and seemed to know your purpose for each item. I think it is good to have a pretty concrete idea about what you will use the containers for. The candy jar one I would use to put all my teas in. I have smaller plastic ones like that and I use them for tea. I also use them for flavor packets for water, easy to grab and go.

Daiso, you are lucky. We don't have them here. When I went to Japan I went a little crazy on the organizing products (and a few craft things like washing tape and small craft kits). Love that store. The quality is good there too.

I use the drawer containers with the grips on my dresser for storing everyday usage items like keys, wallet, change, pens and etc. I also use the basket with handles to store my socks in so I can easily find them. I also use a utensil holder like the one you would use to put spoons, forks & etc in the kitchen. I use it for storing toothpaste, toothbrushes with toothbrush covers, floss, & etc in the bathroom

you could use the over the door hook for scarves. :) my husband is a musician so he uses small containers with dividers to store cord adapters, plugs, etc. I use those small square storage bins for hand towels in the bathrooms so when I swap out the old one I can immediately put a new one out. or for toilet paper.

Great ideas, We like those office separator things to organize the kids school folders. Also, sometimes you can find the clip things with magnets which gives them lots more uses esp. if you have a little magnetic board around 😀

The dollarTree pop up boxes are perfect for the nursery: in drawer to corral onesies, diapers, wee socks, etc. the other Dollae Tree plastic baskets are great in the nursery to store out-of-size clothing. Once the child is big enough to filt into one bin size, move the smaller items into that bin and continue to rotate.

Something else you can use the mesh laundry bags for is baby socks, mitts and hats. Items that small can get lost easily and the bag keeps them together nicely. I use it for my newborn's socks and I don't have to hunt through an entire load for the match.

I love the Pringle’s can DIY for the plastic bag storage and the door hanging hooks for your 👜 👛 purses! Clever. My hack is I also use the file folder organizer for my blow dryer and one for my curling iron under my bathroom sink. And I use coconut oil in my coffee daily. Plus, I use coconut oil for my feet at night to keep fungus at bay and keep my older feet 🦶 looking more healthy and not dry and cracked!! I recently bought the large aqua blue/green $1 square storage bins from the Dollar Tree to store my water bottles and the other for my potatoes in the kitchen. (I don’t have a food pantry, so...)

Good ideas for organizing. I found that huggies containers are just the right size for storage of skincare, shampoos and multiple items.

The Huggies containers are also good for storing smallish toys (like blocks, Legos when your child is older, art supplies for an older child). You can write what's in there as well as tape a picture on the outside so your child can easily see what's in there & learn to put things back...hopefully. 😊

New subscriber here. :) The little containers with lids are good for when your baby gets here: if your baby uses a pacifier, they're good for keeping a spare one or two in your diaper bag. Of course, many pacifiers come with a case but depending on how they're made, they can be hard to open, eventually break or get lost. 😊 The hanging organizers with pockets or even a shoe bag are helpful in closets: you can use them to store gloves/mittens, hats, scarves, baby washcloths, bibs, burp cloths. The flexible basket (if you can find one without a solid bottom) is also good to take beach toys in & you can put bath toys in them as well so sand/water can escape: I've never been able to keep the nets for bath toys with suction cups stuck in place!

The magazine holder can be turned on its side and used as a small shelf. Metal mesh holders, (not found @ dollar store) are great for storing curling irons, flatirons, hair dryers, etc as they won't melt!
