Love the bells. And I love the music. It sure brought back memories of the many, many times I listened to it while standing beside by grandmother in church. Glad to hear the good news about your knee. I don't know if you went to KOC or not, but our family considers them extended family after this past year! My daughter along had three surgeries, my husband one, and I saw them for my shoulder. So we understand the frustration of having a body that won't or can't do what we need it to do and having to wait on healing. I pray you continue to recover quickly and completely. Thanks again for sharing .

I've had a rough year..lost my sweet little Mom last December before Christmas... And see recently our Collie...I'm trying hard to look up, and make this a special Christmas for my three year year old granddaughter, and 3 year great nephew ...and just taking comfort imagining Christmas in Heaven for our loved ones..must be the sweetest...

I would of screwed a small cup hook or eyelet into spindle bottom then it would be easier to attach a small chain or ribbon and I have in past added 2 small jingle bells to ornaments like your bells that don’t have clappers. They all look so lovely too and I love the idea of the spindle tops on bells , I’m going to have to make more bells now and use my spindles up .. ❤

Lisa, these bells all look so beautiful and the green one looks AWESOME with that green spindle. You’ve done such a beautiful job with all of them. I’m so glad you showed us how the white painted ones were bleeding through cos it’s very good to know things like that. Every one of the bells look great. I love all the ones with the ridges in, I’ve never seen any like that before. The one with the bronze paint and the gold on top of that looks like a brass bell and I love the long spindle on the top. TFS all these Lisa. Im so glad your knee is healing nicely. I’m so glad for you that you can now begin to slowly walk on it. That must be so good for you. It would be like being in prison not being able to walk around. (Probably not quite as bad as my description but still horrible). I have a lot of trouble getting around and some days I can hardly walk at all but at least I can move round still. I think I’d go crazy being unable to just get up and walk. I’ll continue to pray for you my good friend. The Lord will ensure your healing is complete and you’ll be running round your house before long, he still has some big plans for you Lisa. I’m glad you’ve still been able to do your crafting as I’m sure that would have been helping your health as well. Take care sweet lady and look after yourself ♥️♥️🌹🌹

Your work is very beautiful. You could have stapled your string to the end of your handle or hot glued it and then tied your beads or what ever your going to use for your clapper. Once again, beautiful work. God bless.

I absolutely love these and I actually have a beautiful small leaded glass lampshade about this size and I’ve been wondering what to make with it. Now I know!! It’s multi colored and will be so pretty. I also think maybe a nice touch would be to put some small lights up in it to shine through. I also have some glass shades from a ceiling fan I kept. Now I have all kinds of ideas 🎉 Lol

I love the look of these, and after seeing how you did it; I would probably clip the tops of the bells after clear coat and before paint; use a thin wire instead of string for your bell "clappers" , and string it through the bottom of the bell, into the hole that you drilled on the spindle and then back down into the bell. That way you can trim the wire for length for your clappers as well as glue the spindle on top. Make sense? I dunno...cute idea, I love the spindle look on these and thank you for the inspiration!
