Dollar Tree Christmas Crafts: Succulent Planter Lighted Christmas Ornament

I apologize for the break in the video. I inserted a card to explain what I did. Once the Mod Podge I used to seal the glitter had dried, I fed the lights through the top of the planter, then used a low temp glue gun to glue them to the inside. I painted the wires with Mod Podge, then added a bit more glitter to help hide them.

We have a family tradition to make baubles from sequins, pins, ribbon and polystyrene - iv been doing them since I was 7yrs Old and now I do it with my kids except we make way more and buy a small tree and loads of tinsel plus battery operated lights with spare batteries and we make dozens of packs with a Tree, lights, 20 baubles & tinsel and give them to Salvation Army to giv to families that don’t have a Christmas tree

I found the snow you like at DT yesterday. Bought about 5 bags, not sure that's enough but at least I have that. And I finally got my Nativity Wreath done and my boyfriend said it is probably the prettiest wreath I have ever made. My friends call it beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing it and this. I picked up a couple of the small and lg Christmas clear balls but didn't see any terrarium balls, need to look at another DT. This is super cute, have some gift ideas in mind. Mary

I have three of these terrariums and was racking my brain as to what I could do with them for a Christmas ornaments little display to hang with my air plants you hit it right on the head. Hardware stores also sell the long, sturdy tweezers. I think I got my set of 2 at either Sutherland’s, or Tractor Supply, or maybe Home Depot . They are 18”! One is straight, and the other is slightly curved.

I put my poly in a dish soap bottle that I have washed out. It’s easy to use and reseal. I just put my extra back in for reuse.

Your so awesome ! I bought plenty of those terrariums. I was going to use the water globe the DT has and place/glue the little trees and or figurine on the inner part of the white lid, add my snow and put the globe part back on, it would sit perfectly on a table or wherever but I love your idea so much better !!
