The tray is beautiful anddddd I loved the lantern...how did u see that picture frame and say... "I'm gonna pop the circle off add some popsicles sticks and make a lantern"...lol...too cute... I don't really make anything but totally enjoy watching crafters like yourself share their art, craft and talent...and find it most entertaining to just see what you come up with...99%of the time I'm amazed 💅it was a couple times I was like I could buy it for less...lol...no fun in that I know...lol..💅

Iwhat an ingenious idea about putting the beads on the skewers! I have to say not only does the skewer keep the beads straight and can twirl to paint but I bet that is such a timer saver as opposed to gluing each one on individually! I’m for anything that is a timesaver! No that is a real hack! A professional look and a time saver! Thank you so much for coming up with that idea! I will definitely use your idea from now on when making these trays or risers. I love using beads on trays and risers. I think they make a HUGE difference in looks!! ❤❤ you are awesome and very creative when you can come up with an idea OUTSIDE the box!! Thanks for the info on where to get the different size sticks. I have worked with these sticks for small projects to be completed by the nearby nursing home residence. I have had a couple ideas to use paint sticks but did not know they came in multi packs cheap. The residents love to paint on wood. I have used the wood glue on my projects because it has been the most durable. I used popsicle sticks to create a framework for the back of a St. Patricks wreath also. It has held up well! I would like to send photos but do not know how to here.

Jay, these are awesome hacks. I learned something new, boiling the craft sticks and putting them inside a vase to get them to curve.
