I’m adopted and got a DNA kit for Christmas, found out I’m 25% Scottish so now, just like Brooke doesn’t know what to do with her hands I feel like I don’t know what to do with this awesome information, should I learn the accent? I was homeless for nearly three years, living in a tent. I did eat a lot from DT. Bought a lot that had more than one serving such as mashed potatoes, soup mixes. I did buy some frozen food. No microwave needed- just a hot pan heated over a sterno or butane stove on low.

I microwave the big burrito for half the time, then put it in the air fryer for a bit to get some crisp on the outside, mmmmmm The spring rolls are delicious, my son loves them.😊

Those big burritos are good if you throw them in the oven with some enchilada sauce and shredded cheese on top. Great for an easy family meal if you don't feel like cooking a big meal.

I buy the big bags of beef & bean burritos at Walmart, put in a 9x13 casserole dish, pour 28oz. red or green enchilada sauce over top, sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, cover with foil, bake @ 350°F for 30 min. Then uncover & bake another 15 min or until the cheese is a little bit brown. Voilà! Lazy Enchiladas!

I am not a fan of any chicken turn over. However the beef Jamaican patties, those are my absolute favorite for my childhood. We had Puerto Rican, Jamaican, Dominican, Cuban in many other nationality neighbors when I lived in South Florida. And they taught this little Irish Polish girl how to eat good. Amazing food. And those Jamaican meat pies, although not as good as fresh, or a staple and delicious meal in my childhood.❤

I grew up in south Florida too (broward) I’m also Irish and polish with a little bit of Russian thrown in and a friend took me to a little Jamaican shop with fresh Jamaican beef patties and I was blown away by how good they were. We love their egg rolls, have only tried the shrimp, pork,& chicken ,theyre all good, they also have lobster i havent tried those! Those fast bite cheeseburgers are ok with some ketchup! Tastes like what we had in school in the 70's! Lol will have to try the burritos, i dont like jerk spice so i know i wouldnt like those meat pies, ice cream is good especially since its went up so high at other stores! I was in a situation for about 6 months where I had only a Family Dollar to buy food with $35 a week for 3 people. I had to walk almost two miles each way and I am disabled but I had no help, no car, no bus line, little money. Be grateful you dont have to live like that. There are still people out there who have to.

I grew up on those fast bites! Back then they were called micromagic and they were a lot better then they are now. The grilled chicken and cheese burger sliders are my favorite. Idk why but for some reason the smaller sliders taste better then the larger cheeseburger. It's not the greatest but if you throw on some ketchup, mayo and some extra cheese it definitely gets the job done if you need something quick and cheap.

I used to buy my son the fast bites pulled pork BBQ sandwiches for an after school snack at Save a lot. I have to say they were by far the better of all the flavors they offered. So maybe worth another taste test if you come across them. However he is now almost 27 so they could have sacrifice some of the quality for profit. I have saw Rebecca over on dollartree dinners use the big burritos in a cheap and easy enchiladas dish and she swears its delicious. So maybe check her out.I feel bad for people in areas that Dollar Tree or dollar general are their only options for buying groceries. It's like we all say fed is better but I'm thankful to have several options of go to grocery stores in my area.I love you and the family.
