I live by myself and I've been struggling making food for myself because I'm not a very good cook. I ate a lot of takeout and got really sickly because I was anemic and vitamin deficient. I appreciate that your videos make everything look so simple that even I could do it, and I use your videos for inspiration all the time! I don't do the paper towel method for grease; I take a foil lined bowl and drain the grease into the bowl. After it solidifies, I wrap it up and toss in the trash can.

I grew up on “Bbq Burgers”. Cook and crumble beef, add BBQ sauce. Serve on buttered pan toasted hamburger buns. Easy and kid friendly .

My Granny ( depression era) taught me. I must pass it on. This recipes provides for 3, so do the math. Slice, do not peel, one bag of apples( any kind, its the depression) put 1 stick of cow butter in skillet. add apples n one pound of thin sliced hotdogs. add 1/2 cup to 1 cup karo , I use light. Granny used dark. Add 1/2 cup brown sugar and fry, smother after with lid on. Best ever!! it's like dinner and dessert. Make soft and enjoy! Turkey hotdogs taste best if on sale!

My mom made pizza burgers, you cook your hamburgers, then added your toppings, mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, mushrooms...whatever you like on your pizza. Heat up in oven. Delicious!!!

That's a new way to make Indian Fry Bread, I never use yeast, milk, nor butter. I Just use flour, baking powder, shortening, salt, water and oil for frying. And they are the best when making tacos!❤❤❤ I got to try your recipe!❤️❤️❤️!

As a child, my family would occasionally go to powwows. As a grownup, I could never figure out how to make frybread. It has never tasted or looked right. My mom would just say flour, water, salt, and baking powder. I am going to give up and try Brooke's recipe.

My kids are members of a tribe nearby, and when we go to the powwow each summer, we get indian tacos 😋 Their tribe makes them thicker than yours, but yours look soooo good!!!!❤ I had their great grandma's recipe when I was married, and I think she used a baking powder version instead of yeast. I’m an older lady - my family discusses issues so no one feels alone or like they are crazy - we need to talk about it - we make fun of each other - and yes my grandchildren even have OCD and anxiety - some do - it’s genetic - both hubby and I have the genes - anyway I remind them it’s just there and we discuss it - we talk and we share and we pray - my son recalls a girl at work having a panic attack - he talked her through what he does and has learned and she was so grateful - then he told her meds we take - my long winded point- we all need help and should Be kind

I always called it chrokee fry bread, I'm cherokee😊. I just love you and your family and your cooking. I'm from the hollers of Virginia but i live i Tennessee, really no difference, i have to add Kentucky too😊. I grew up poor too but never really thought i was poor. I'm an old widow now, guess I'm still poor but i don't feel like it. Never did. This Appalachian hillbilly is RICH❤😊

And i have grandparents old home. Been here for 24 yrs. But lived on this land 52 yrs. We raised our own food mostly and lived good. But we aren't rich. We humble Jesus loving folks. ❤

My mom used to make a pizza burger recipe with hamburger, spam, velveta, pizza sauce and seasoning all mixed up. She would put it in the fridge and when ready to serve, baked open faced on buns. It was so good! I gotta find her recipe

I'm ve been seeing a lot of people making this bread lately , the way it puffs up reminds me of sapapias....I would add 2 cans of tomato soup to my leftover and make chilli the next day throwing any leftover chopped tomatoes,pepper and and onions too and adding cheese in the bowls. Low and slow oven bbq ribs ,I cook them the same $7 a. rack OMG much higher in FL.... I like to use garlic toast to make grilled cheese sandwiches,...I bought an electric skillet for my daughter and son in-law for Christmas and they love it and say it makes cooking so much easier 😊❤ great job Brooke I love it that you improvise it shows we all make mistakes, and ya gotta go with it😊 my church message this week was about being kind but the times people say things and it pushes our. buttons - we' re human , God understands , stay kind , people are better when they " feel" cared about, it gives each of us a feeling of mattering😊❤

I try to remember that people who are unkind are people who are hurting. Who knows from what. They need prayer and forgiveness, but I don’t need to interact with them myself. I cook my ribs like you Low and Slow! My daddy will cook a roast, ham in oven on about 200.F or 225.F and by morning it’s done and falling apart. Tender and moist. Your a Great cook. ❤

I was over here thinking I’m way out of control because I’m only feeding a family of 3 and I spend a lot more than $100 a week!
