This is such a great hack. I have been to a million Dollar Tree Stores, as well as looked on line. First these holders were on back order. Now they aren't even listed online. Bummer. I found something similar at Big Lots though, for anyone who is looking. They are $5 instead of $1, but still worth it, mostly. The Big Lots ones are narrower and so full rolls are tight. I purchased 4 and they hold 8 rolls, as opposed to the 4 that Dollar Tree holds. So there is that. Just thought I'd post this in case someone (like me) was looking for them. Thanks!

What a lovely room for you. If you needed more vinyl space you could have left a gap between the upper & lower racks to add another roll between the two. I think I need to change my vinyl storage now. ❤️🇦🇺

I have seen videos where people bend the racks up to keep the vinyl from falling. If the rolls are not full, they are prone to falling out because of their size. Full rolls are tight against the racks, so they stay put. The DT racks are easy to bend, so it is a nice option.

That's a great idea! I haven't had any issues with them falling out yet because I keep the rolls loosely rolled but I will definitely keep this in mind if I start having issues with that! Thanks for the suggestion.

Love the way it looks. I was thinking that if you spaced each rack apart a bit could have a space between each rack for additional rolls. That would also mask that bit of crookedness on some of the racks too.

Love it!!! Im using this to store my vinyl. You could have made just a bit of space between each rack so you had an additional slot for vinyl.

I would space the two dividers just a little bit so you have an extra spot for your vinyl rolls. this also makes it looks like one long storage rack instead of seeing the double wiring.

This one is 8 ft x 6 ft. I just customized it to fit my room and I love it! Used 2.5 in screws and my kreg jig for various parts of the desk.

You should measure your space for a table. My craft cabin is 12x10 but the inside is much less space. So we made my table 8ft to fit

You don't have to roll them if they are smaller sheets. You just roll them to keep them put away and take up less space. These rolls are 10 yards long so it would take up a ton of space! Hope this helps 😊

I swear you gotta be the female version of me, just some of the things you did, said, and random lil things is what got me feeling that way I built that same desk to the T, not quit as big as yours, and I also run a small business making custom signs and wood stuff. lol anyways great idea on the dollar tree hack. They now sell vinyl for cutting machines so same size as the smaller rolls( fits on mats) everything. And wedding tools,scrapper, etc. lol and when looking for studs in the wall that if the stud finder ever shits out on you, just knock on the wall lightly and when the sound of the your knocks get a lil lower sounding then you hit one then they are typically 2 ft apart. So every 2 feet is a stud Anyway I’m sure you probably know all this. In case u don’t lol

I don't wan't anything touching the actual vinyl, such as the metal bars from that frame... I Don't even put rubber bands around decal vinyl because it can damage it if left on to long... I find it best to use the center of roll, I have two simple hooks sticking out from my wall and a cord with loops on each end going threw the vinyl roll and then hang the loops on each hooks... my hooks stick out far enough from the wall that my rolls don't even touch the wall either... it is easy to get on and off and cost less than a dollar...
