I love how when Emmy doesn’t like something, she doesn’t shy away from it. She continues to dig in multiple times just to make sure she doesn’t actually like it and to tell us why she doesn’t like it. ❤

She should do a video on making them from scratch. I bought 20lbs of pork belly to make my own bacon a few years ago. It came skin on. I just carefully took the skin off and, of course-did some magic google-foo and made it into pork rind strips. They didn't microwave well but deep fried-oh my! It's almost like they repel oil once puffed up. We put old Bay seasoning and of course, some dill/salt/garlic and a good portion of citric acid(I'd like to buy powdered apple cider vinegar)for dill pickle flavor. It's hard learning to do stuff like that -it took 3 days lol. And we ate them like wild animals lol. But it is fun to do. Shrimp chips are on my "wanna try" list too. Andong made it look easy lol

Dollar Tree employee here with some recommendations if you ever wanted to make a part 2: First off, hit up the freezer section and pick up a few pints of the Philadelphia Water Ice. Amazing stuff. I particularly like the Blue Hawaiian and Red, White, and Blue flavors and, if you can find it, the Unicorn flavor. Cherry and Mango are also very nice though. And, although I haven't seen these in some time, we used to carry these hot honey cheese curls. Ineradicable. I miss them so much. So if you can happen to find those. Got to try them. Along with Brim's pork cracklins. They come in a much smaller bag than their pork rinds, but they're so good. They're skin and fat, and have this kind of bacon-y flavor with a little spice. Good stuff.

You should taste test some more dollar tree items! I work there and often see people getting entire grocery hauls. Some of my favorites: -The disney juices. They have apple juice, kiwi strawberry, fruit punch and orange juice with disney characters on them. -Arizona fruit snacks. -The freezer food! The crinkle fries and sweet pepper stir fry are my favorites. Some of their premade freezer meals are quite good as well. -The $1.25 ice cream cartons! Now that I think about it, a dollar tree freezer food taste test would be a really cool video idea! Try making the crinkle fries in the air fryer with some garlic powder, salt, pepper and oregano. My favorite lazy snack.

My dollar tree stores charge $5 for container of ice cream. Only the smallest or crappiest of ice cream is sold for $1.25. even those tiny Ben& Jerry's that only had 2 bites worth of ice cream is $5. It sucks. At least I can get a small thing of Little Debbie ice cream at Walmart for $2. And they do my favorite snacks flavors. Nutty Buddy and Fudge Rounds. So good.😋

@@SkitSkat674 The mini b&j ones are $5 for you?!? that’s ridiculous!!! They sell them for 1.25 at my store. What a shame. I wonder why they are so expensive in your area. The cheap containers of ice cream for $1.25 are pretty terrible but I always wanted to give them a shot. I guess I won’t lol. Do they sell 1.25 philadelphia water ice containers at your local one? I get it far too often. My favorite treat.

So I picked up these FABULOUS trick down south when I was a young girl. Make you Mac and cheese as normal, EXCEPT do not put any extra shredded cheese on to! Instead, you cover the Mac and cheese with roughly broken up pieces of pork rinds! You could pulverize them in a food processor if you want that 'breadcrumb' like topping! Just put it in the oven to warm up the pasta and lightly brown the pork rinds! No need for any butter since the pork are fatty enough! 😂 My second trick came from this wonderful woman from Georgia who has since past. She would make her great, greta grandmothers fried chicken recipe, except when she became a newlywed, she knew how much her husband loved pork rinds and crushed some of them up really fine to coat some the chicken. She was worried that they would just burn or fall off, but they stuck onto the chicken really well and she changed up the recipe and everyone in her family... actually more like town ADORED her fried chicken and she would make it once a week for her family!

A grind of mine went keto deit crazy for a boy and she used porkrinds crushed instead of bread crumbs. Thry add a depth of flavor for sure. And are incredibly yummy as croutons on salads lol I don't do keto but when she made our lunch/snack I didn't mind her lunches.

The pigments that make dragonfruit bright pink are relatively unstable under acidic conditions and when exposed to light. Usually only takes a few days to 2-3 weeks depending on temp and light exposure. It likely was bright pink the day it was manufactured and while sitting in the bottle it has degraded.

I really liked this video, and thanks for doing it. As a former worker of the Dollar Tree for a number of years I am not too happy about the prices going up. I know why they go up, (theft) but it's sad and will hurt a lot of customers budget wise, not to mention workers not being paid enough. They already have priced some things $1.75 in my region. I liked the way Emmy said $1.25 store. Never was a big fan of the Rap snacks etc.. Not sure about the cereal straws, but kids may like them. The Pink sauce is a hit, and miss for me. I love the Brims pork rinds, and the BBQ, and Hot is my faves, and I love the scriptures on the bags. Its a good way to promote kindness, and interest in Christ Jesus. Good video. Blessings everyone.

I actually tried the pink sauce and I have to say that I LOVED it. Everyone seems to be hating on it but I think it’s worth trying for yourself. I don’t understand the people that think it tastes like cheap ranch.. there’s so much more depth to it tbh.

Dollar Tree Spring Rolls and pot stickers are my favorites. I like them more than any sold at Walmart or my local grocery stores. They are still a great value at $1.25. I'm hoping they don't move them to the $3.00 level.

I remember reading somewhere that the Pink Sauce loses its color within 6 mos. or so. Exposure to light (esp. sunlight) can also discolor foods, which is why certain foods come in opaque or dark glass containers.
