Chrissy, this was so sweet of you to show this video. Considering all the other times you recorded doing the same thing. Thank you for your time. Also, I was so happy when you used the wallpaper and got it straight, that looked hard, but you did it. I also loved you showing everything you purchased from dollar tree and utilizing everything, that’s just awesome. Great video and thank you. 🙏🏻 You rock my dear.

After having used both contact paper and wallpaper, my suggestion on how to handle getting the paper over the clasp is to mark where you need the hole to be before you take off the backing. Then cut an X at that spot. Then after the contact paper is on the envelope, you can trim back the extra on the X to fit, and if any of the yellow still shows, cover it with a touch of black pen or Sharpe. Hope that helps! I love your videos and am excited to try one of my own! Thank you for your great videos! I've enjoyed them all!

I have been looking to learn how to make a junk journal. I love how you do yours and I do not mind if you have long videos. I love all. I am excited about starting my junk journal. 😊
@ChrissyDesigned3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I love when someone is just starting out making junk journals. I kinda live through that excitement all over again. Lol 😁 Making junk journals or the parts to build it is probably the one thing I never get tired of doing. Lol I get a lot of hate about my long videos or bc I talk to much & I don’t edit any of my videos but that’s the whole reason I even started this channel. You can’t edit & fast forward in real life & this is like my replacement of crafting with a friend. Lol So thank you again! 😁

Hi I love your cute junk journal. It's great to know you can make mistakes also. I do a lot! Lol, when you put on the contact paper, I love that blank & white paper, you could measure on the back before you stick it on, the distance around where the clasp is mark a X , put a hole in the middle. Take backing off & place it on. Cut into the X to fit it. Then you could put those peel & stick hole covers like for note books in school so in case your paper holes get torn you can put a cover over them & then they look brand new. I'm sure they have them at the $1.00 tree & maybe in different colors! Hope that helps! You're doing great & I like the long videos & I like to watch all the details. I think it's great you show all your boo boos! Lol That makes us human! Thanks for sharing! Can't wait for the next video! ☺️🫂🍁🎃🦇👻🐈⬛

New subscriber here. Haven't delved into junk journaling, but researching. I am a Happy Planner addict and overall crafter ...many, too many different crafts, and I love, LOVE the idea of junk journaling, just unsure where to begin. Thank you for the vids! They are helping A LOT!
@ChrissyDesigned2 жыл бұрын
Oh thank you 💗 That’s too funny, I actually first started with happy planner. It was the new thing out & everyone was doing it. But I couldn’t stay on track tho & I would always put so much pressure on myself to keep up with the latest & greatest. Lol There was just way to many rules for me, even if it was self imposed rules. Lol 😂 Then about 6months after that I seen my first junk journal video & I was hooked! I knew that was more my style & meant for me. I have been hooked ever since. Lol I do still use my old happy planner stuff tho it’s just mixed in with my junk journals. Lol I’m actually using an old happy planner for the 25 days of craftsmas this year. lol Ok I’ll stop rambling now. Lol 😂

Unroll contact paper and refill it with decorated side inside and then in roll it will remain flat. Lay the paper you want flat down against the contact paper trace around. Peel a small section press down on journal and slowly unroll contact paper. I usually made paper a quarter inch wider so I have enough. Then use Paper punch to re punch hole.

What if before you peel the back off can you fold your cut out pice in half and then measure where the hole should be and cut out the hole then pull the backin off.

when u used the other envelope to trace it the first time you should have traced the hole or hole punched it before you prrled it off so your hole would have been done before hand

Where in DT do you find these tickets?? I been wanting these for a while now, but I can't seem to find them.
@ChrissyDesigned Жыл бұрын
I found them in the office & school supplies area. Like by the poster boards & pens & paper. The dollar tree is my favorite place besides the second hand stores to get junk journal stuff. & now a lot of dollar trees have really expanded their craft section. Their double sided tape works really good & their packs of paint canvases are perfect for the journal covers. 😁

i’m so lost! i saw a bunch of instagram accounts junk journaling and it looks so fun and what in the world . what is a signature and anyone explain more to me? i really want to do this
@ChrissyDesigned2 жыл бұрын
In my newest videos I’m making one step by step there’s a part 1 & 2 so far. I also have another older video thats for beginners & I explain what everything is. A signature is just the grouping of papers that you put in between the covers of the journal. It’s the pages that make up the journal. I hope that helped a little. 😊
