My great grandchildren like the ons that I made for them. One of them told her teacher it was her favorite book. The teacher asked to see it. She said it was nice. I like the sound ofvyour voice. You kept me company while I worked on my journals that are going to be for sale in a craft show on the 6th of Dec at one of our local senior center I plan on having mostly fabric items that I've made during and since the pandemic.

I just love junk journals. Its so much fun designind and making them. I've made all kinds of methods for dying papers the most interesting results that I really liked were with the shaving cream method. The colors were really vibrant with the first dip. I got aprox 3 to dips to each mixture. It was still pretty nice on the last dip. Kind of a chocolate brown mixed with muted shades of the colors that I chose. Then you scrape your dipping tray and start all over again. I'm looking forward to watching part 2

Your voice is very soothing, which is something I look for in craft videos because i have issues with anxiety and migraines, and they help me cope. I checked out your channel and saw that you have ASMR videos! So now I'm truly a fan. I love that you let us see your entire process.

I thought it was just me that had to listen to a voice first to decide if I’d watch the video or not, I’m very sensitive to vocals and also suffer with bad anxiety, I get irritable with certain sounds or noises. I often turn the sound off when I want to watch tutorials and just follow along with sight only. I do like this video 😃

I love your journal. It's beautiful. I started makinjournals in 2019. My 1st ones were small and I learned as I made them. The next ones I completed were made using the bottoms from the large paper bags that my granddaughter brought home filled with her groceries from Winco. I tore the rest of the bags up and glued the pieces onto the bag bottoms. This gave them strength then I decorated them with the Garden Goddes paper pad. It had lots of sunflowers on many of the pages. They were birthday gifts for my great granddaughter who was turning 14 yrs old. She loves sunflowers and she loved both of the ones I made for her.

Handmade gifts are the best! My mother in law made me a beautiful journal after my baby shower with the gift bags little things from the favors and anything with the theme. It has pockets with notes written by guests, little phrases and pictures of my baby shower up to the point when my daughter was born. She too has developed a nice knack for scrapbooking and journaling.

I completely am in agreement with you, still trying to find out what a signature is
@ChrissyDesigned2 жыл бұрын
A signature is just the group of papers in the middle of the cardboard covers. The signature is what you attach to the spine. It’s just the main pages of the journal. Depending on the size of your spine you can have multiple signatures (groups of pages). I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions I can help with! 😁

Quick Tip: I just wanted to let you know that I also like dying my own items. What you need to do to make them thinner is as they're drying put them in an old book. Don't completely let him dry so let's say you use a blow-dryer or embosser to partial dry it, that's fine but don't completely dry it keep partially damp so when you put it in the book it makes it flat again and if it's a lot of items in your book then all you have to do you know add more books or I add my beads on top of it whatever I have available that's smaller and heavy to weigh it down. Periodically you do still want to pull them out and let them dry and if it seems like they're fluffing up again you just put them back in the book.
