I like that you’re not prepared in advance because beginners will learn so much on how to get started in the thinking process... I for one appreciate your videos and that you share with us your “out loud” thinking of what to put where...this has inspired me to get started on my 1st journal so thank you for sharing with us beginners that don’t know how to start.

That’s very sweet thank you 😁 I know some times it annoys people to hear the whole process but I have friends & family & especially my nieces that are learning from my videos, so I feel like I need to go through the whole process without cutting out any part so it explains every detail as if they were in my craft room with me. Lol When I first started out years ago I didn’t have that so if it helps even one person get inspired then I’m very happy. 😁

I’ve never made one of these . I’m honestly not very crafty. I have watched a couple of people in the past do these I I just couldn’t make heads or tails out of it. Watching you and your thought process as you put this together made so much since to me. I learned more from these first two videos than I’ve ever been able to learn before. I’m a visual learner and you made me feel like I really could do this! You kept apologizing in the video and i kept thinking no, no, no, you’re teaching this the way it should be taught. I for one am very grateful. It wasn’t boring to me, it was informative and detailed in just the way I needed it presented in order for me to understand. Thank you so much. This is my first time here. I kept thinking as you talked that you have to be from Arkansas, Texas, or Tennessee. I’m from Tennessee and I’ve been transplanted in Arkansas for the last several years. Lol! I can’t wait to watch you again!
@ChrissyDesigned3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! 😁 I’m so happy that it made sense. I try to explain it in a way that even the non crafter would be able to understand. I get tons of complaints that I’m to slow, but my videos are not for them if they already know how to do all of it. I have young nieces that follow along with me at their home so I try to balance it for them to be able to keep up. & I try to keep in mind how I felt when I first was learning. It seemed like everyone teaching this was so advanced, I couldn’t ever find any simple basic learning videos so I was always lost. Lol Yes I am a Texan. I’m told that my accent gives it away but of course I don’t hear it. Lol I had one lady tell me that she only watches my videos to listen to my voice. Lol 😆

@@ChrissyDesignedI knew I heard a fellow Texan in there lol. I too appreciate this so much, I’m starting on one for my niece n was absolutely lost with it all. Thank you so much for actually teaching, most don’t.

Totally like the organic approach. That’s the way I work, I gather a few things together it sometimes they do t make it anywhere near the finished product. I like seeing so One work the same way. It makes me feel more confident that I should keep working this way. If you had everything together and didn’t go through the process of thinking about what you want it would be boring. Better to see the process! ❤
