I used that oven cleaning spray once and I thought I was going to die, literally. The fumes almost choked me to death. I would recommend anyone who tries it wears a mask.

The fumes are horrible! I inhaled by accident. I wish I read this comment before. I hope Others are cautious. I think I will try vinegar and baking soda method next time, seems less toxic.

My husband takes the cleaning cloths outside in a pan and sprays them until they are soaked. Then I lay them on the surface of my warm oven for an hour wearing gloves it wipes right off with no fumes in the house.

Thanks for keeping it real! My mom taught me you can put your oven racks (or grill) in a plastic trash bag with some ammonia and let them soak. The nasty stuff will just wipe right off! You could do that while cleaning the rest of your oven.

If you put a large silicone mat on the bottom rack it catches a lot. So just pull it out and wash it. But you should use a mask those oven cleaners have serious things in them!

I suggest that you get an oven liner so that when drippings fall to the bottom of your oven you can take the liner out of the oven wash it and return it to the oven. You could also pour baking soda in oven then put vinegar on top of baking soda for a more natural clean and far less expensive. 😊

Great job! I’m glad you had gloves on for the inside but you need them for the top too. I’ve used DT Awesome spray for the top & just leave on for a few minutes. Enjoy your dinner & get a oven liner. TYFS.

My oven hasn't been cleaned in three years either! I have had three surgeries in three years and my family hasn't been willing to tackle it. I'm hoping when I'm healed from this latest knee surgery it will get done. I'll have to look for some of that cleaner at DT.

I read a tip where you spray the racks in a garbage bag and leave overnight, hose off the next day in tub or outside.

It's real girl, a real struggle and I can relate. I finally bought a 2 pack of grill mats from Amazon and laid it on the bottom of my stove. Catches everything, just remove and wash or like me, throw away and replace! Haha true story! Thanks for sharing :)

That oven cleaner worked amazing! Hey don't feel shame to say it's been 3 years since the oven was cleaned- you cook all the time !it honestly wasn't bad! I haven't cleaned mine in 5 years but I hardly use it . I have the entire bottom covered with aluminum foil- I have electric not gas though! I know where I'm buying my oven cleaner from now on! Fill a spray bottle with half water, half white vinegar, mix in a 1/2 tspn. of regular blue Dawn dish soap, shake real good... Spray oven, oven door down with it, sprinkle some baking soda on it, let sit overnight if you can, or let it sit for a few hours, scrub and wipe down, and you have an awesome clean oven, this mixture also works well for the tub and shower... P.S., you're oven does look good, I use the mixture I stated because I can't take the fumes, love your videos though 😊

I don't use a scrubby on my stove top this is because the salesman said it would scratch the enamel and make it harder to clean down the road. I use a cleaner and a mr clean sponge. Just saying that's what I do. God bless you and your family!

They are extremely strong! I would advise wearing a mask. This stuff works great from my experience..but make sure to have some kind of ventilation and don't breathe it in lol

Try the dollar tree cleaner on the stove top. Also check if you can remove the oven door, on mine I can, makes cleaning inside much easier to reach.

Ive tried the Dollar Tree oven cleaner as well. I just thought it was ok. Actually I think the Brand Easy Off Oven cleaner works the best. Now I'm stupidly commenting before I watch your video but I'm going to go watch It and see If maybe I'm doing something wrong. Tfs !

Tiffany be careful inhaling those fumes. You should wear a mask. I have chronic breathing problems so I can’t use that spray. I don’t know if it started from doing this when I first started using the spray without a mask. I have a self cleaning oven now thank goodness. You did a great job though❤️
