I remember showing this to my friends and all of them agreed this was record of the year. I’ll never forget sitting in an Uber coming home from a job I fucking hated and seeing that Dollhouse dropped this masterpiece. Since then I’ve been waiting for a new release but for another hour it’s still the First day of Spring. My life has changed since I first heard this but I never forgot about the itch this record scratched. I love you Michelle thank you for your words of pain, it eases that of mine and so many others

*This was EP of the Year the Minute it Came Out,* I don’t think I’ve listened to any other vinyl More than This Particular EP in 2022. It’s almost Painfully True to Life how Dark of a Place the Lyrics take You. If you’ve ever been in these hospital systems for prolonged time *if you saw me on the Unit would you think that I was Fine, would you Hold My In the Springtime* really Hits Different in your Head, as that really happened to you. Don’t get me started on “This is Heaven”, when you’ve seen people take that train in front of you. Dollhouse is the Bomb, Need another Full Length🖤

The vocal of this noble gentleman has changed a lot since the demo. "The shadow baby" I feel that it was better in the first version (I don't know if it's because I heard that demo almost daily in my car) Anyway, the new songs are insane and wonderful.

I kind of prefer the old version of Shadow Baby. Loses some of the melodicism with the more aggressive vocal style and dirtier production. So incredibly excited hearing new stuff from these guys though. The new songs fucking destroy. Love the riffs on the closer especially.
