With all of her fame she never changed who she was. It’s 2023 and she still appears to be the same sweet woman she was here. She’s still doing for others and I just adore her. What a star.

As for Dolly she is just one down to earth enchanting unique soul.

@@badapple65 It's funny how females with accents just tare us guys up. I'm from the region Dolly is from, so a southern accent isn't a thing to me and the way folks speak in the rest of the country doesn't sound foreign to our ears. I love other accents from females though. I dated a girl from Ireland and her accent was one of the things that got my attention, along with other things. We're Irish, my mother and father are both 100% Irish. Their parents, my grandparents came to this country when they were kids. Their families literally came here on the same boat, everyone from those ships all settled in the same region, so that's how they met and got together. Needless to say, both of my grandmothers couldn't have been happier that I had an Irish gal. 😂 From gals with accents, I got off topic a little. 😂

I don’t get how it’s so crazy that she and other country singers from back then had 10-12 siblings. My grandma (born 1951) had 9 siblings and my grandpa (born 1948) had 10. Or maybe vice versa. We’re from southern Virginia, my grandpas family is from the mountains of Tennessee though, but we live in a more city area and it was never considered unique that they had so many brothers and sisters...so I figured it wasn’t too rare back then?

Brothers and sisters, I have been on a hunt now for a while. Looking for someone saying ANYTHING unkind about Dolly online. Not only have I come up empty on that account, but I haven't seen a single troll tearing into others who gush praise upon her. It's like nothing I've ever seen. This to me seems significant. You have to look hard NOT to find a comment thread for videos with 80k+ views WITHOUT a troll. I'm really kind of afraid of what will happen to this world when she's left it. I hope she knows how broadly and deeply her fellow human beings love her. Tom Snyder was a great guy, I should add, and one of my favorite interviewers.

Boy, Tom Snyder couldn't stop talkin over Miss Dolly to save his life. She's got to be the most patient person I've ever seen. She never got the chance to answer any questions in full without Snyder cutting her off. Ya know, Miss Dolly has so much goin on with her career and a whole bunch of work other than her make-up and figure and her hair. It always goes to the superficial stuff and it's annoying. It reminds me of that nursery rhyme: "Pussy Cat , pussy cat where have you been? I've been to London to visit the Queen. Pussy cat, pussy cat what saw you there? I saw a mouse under the Queen's chair." You got the Country Queen, Dolly Parton, sitting across from you and you focus on wigs and make-up?? Miss Dolly is a good sport. I hope the paycheck is well worth her time humoring these people.

Happy holidays is also generic to include more than just Christmas, since there is a holiday season.

@@csmith5420 No, everyone knows that the holiday that is celebrated on December 25th is Christmas. People who are politically correct and cowards say happy holidays when there is only 1 holiday which takes place on Christmas day.

@@ThaiChinaMalayOh wow! Lmao. A coward for saying happy holidays?! How dare he be respectful of others and their beliefs?! Christmas might be the holiday on Dec. 25th but the month of December is full of other holidays! Infact from Thanksgiving to New Year there’s tons and tons of different holidays that people from all over the world celebrate.
@ThaiChinaMalay5 күн бұрын
@@csmith5420 No, happy holidays is is not generic for anything. It is a cowards way of perceiving they might be offending someone. If the holiday is celebrating Thanksgiving, I say Happy Thanksgiving, not happy holidays. If the holiday is December 25th, which is the birthday of Christ, the only appropriate thing to say is Merry Christmas.
@ThaiChinaMalay5 күн бұрын
@@davidpatterson555 Only an insincere buffoon would perceive someone is being respective to others by misidentifying the actual holiday that is celebrated. If there are other holidays...great. Identify the actual holiday, look the person in the eye with sincerity, and say the name of the holiday...that would be polite and appropriate. So, on December 8th, I say happy Bodhi day to Christians and Muslims alike. Even some Buddhists in Thailand say Merry Christmas to other Thai people December 25th.

Imagine... I've been in love with Dolly since I've met her, as a journalist, in Toronto (CA) a long time ago... She was twenty something. She was a pure gem ! ----- Her best quality (based on my own criteria) is her «soul»... it's a the part of a human that can not be fake... and based on this feeling, I'd say : «What a nice person Dolly was and still is...» ------ Thank you God for «Dolly Parton» ---- Ps) I am 75, with the soul of a 30 years old French guy (I am French). Even at my age, I still produce documentaries movies in China's National TV (called CCTV) and I wish to produce one (a documentory) to make her look even more seductive for a woman of her age...
