The former for his contribution to Universal's other flick An American Tail, whereas the latter for being the workaholic, but funny dad in Beethoven. I watched this movie yesterday, and when i heard this song, i remembered that i haven't heard that song in the past 21 years, but i loved it when i was a kid. I really like this movie, it's a shame that they don't make such good movies anymore like this... It has a very good atmosphere, the actors are also talented, and the dogs in the cast are incredibly sweet and smart. Perfect pairing of voices. I always wished that David Foster produced Dolly in the 90s more. I think he knew how to get the best out of her voice, and what blended well for her.
