Mr. James Ingram and Mr. Charles Grodin. They were the best of 90s childhood I remember so well. The former for his contribution to Universal's other flick An American Tail, whereas the latter for being the workaholic, but funny dad in Beethoven. Gone now from this world, but both left behind an incredible gift in their own respective entertainment professions. Respect. The fact this song became Oscar-nominated is living proof that if a song is that amazing in any movie (good or bad), they deserve the acknowledgement or even win!

I remember a lot of his music, predominately radio hits like "Yo Mah Be There" and "I Don't Have the Heart," from my childhood. We are now in 2024 and I've listened to more James Ingram than probably all other artist combined. I truly wish there were more. His voice...I would give anything to be able to sing like that.
