He may have been born in captivity and has never known the deep blue. If not he is a new catch and hasn’t lost the muscle in his dorsal muscle fibers, yet. Either way as a species who uses more brain cell activity than humans they should have the right to occasional freedom. If only to see just how different and difficult the real world is. For now he’s a prisoner and if potato head decides to destroy the planet he will starve and die in that tank.

I’m from England. But every year we would go to Clearwater Florida my parents had a villa there. The dolphins would sometimes come right into the shore. The first time I see this I panicked 😂. I thought it was a shark 😂 it was my first time in America and thought everything in America was there to kill you 😂🤣. But after I got used to it they would let you touch them and they were so playful and splash you it really was amazing.

How precious...the dolphin seemed to be trying to tell the innocent child something. It felt safe with the baby. You know....I saw where someone commented that the dolphin was saying "I love you"....I thought for a split second the dolphin was saying "Help me"...That broke my heart. Nicht selten begehen sie Selbstmord (im Gegensatz zu uns ist jeder Atemzug bei Delfinen bzw. Walen eine bewusste Entscheidung). Delfine, die in Gefangenschaft geboren wurden, kann/ sollte man natürlich ebenso in ein "Dolphin Sanctuary" umsiedeln!!!

There are thousands of dolphins in the oceans and I think it’s worth it to have 3 in a tank so this girl and all of the others can learn and appreciate just how wonderful they are. The Japanese herd them into a cove and slaughter them for food because they don’t value them. We Americans because we have seen them up close, seen them perform realize they aren’t just a fish to be eaten but an intelligent creature that can interact with humans. This helps us form a bond with them and love them like a dog or cat or horse. Anything we love we won’t eat it. If I could have a large lake of salt water or access to the ocean I would have one like in the tv show Flipper because I wanted one. I love animals. I have had dogs, cats and horses but no dolphins. I don’t think I could ever kill a chicken for food. I get very attached to animals. My mother-in-law raised over 400 chickens every year to feed her husband and 4 children, they caught catfish, bass and walleye to eat too. She grew a block long garden and canned all that she grew for food. She was an amazing woman and worked so hard, and I couldn’t begin to keep up with her.
