Dolphin LIBERTY 200 Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner Full Review

Cordless Robotic Pool cleaners are probably the future of this technology. The Dolphin Liberty 200 by Maytronics is their first cordless cleaner and it is a very good entry into this sector. It is loaded with features and is also very reasonably priced.
This cleaner is made for a small to medium pool which I would say is a 15,000-gallon or less body of water. Any pool 30 x 15 in length or less would be ideal. The main reason is that the Liberty 200 only runs for 1.5 hours on a full charge. I am sure later models will have larger batteries and longer run times.
The cleaning pattern is quite effective given the short run time and I wouldn’t worry about it not leaving your pool spotless each time. The debris basket is rated at 70 microns and you can also order the Dolphin Genuine Replacement Part - Fine Filter Panels (4PK) - Part Number 9991463-R4 which will filter down to 20 microns.

Liberty 300 due out shortly. The 400 is also scheduled but not sure of the timetable.

Liberty 300 has been for about a month here anyway. liberty 300 and 200 have same run time. 300 has eco mode schedule cleaning thats does the floor for 30 mins at a time. has the option to do floor only and has the click up to retrieve robot from pool. 400 is expected later in year.

I'm considering this for use in my pools that do not have auto cleaners. It'd be so nice to drop this in and come back an hour or two later. But curious about pool coverage. It would be nice if they made one that stayed on the bottom. In my opinion robots stay on walls and tile line too long, where effectively, they don't do very much at all.

Good for a pool 15,000 or less. Will leave it pretty much spotless. Larger pools maybe not so.

Longer run time maybe if I remember correctly. Plus the 300 will climb to the sound of the special rattle for easy extraction.

Consider the Dolphin T15 for above ground pools it stays on the bottom.
