This was one of the best instructional videos and demos I've seen in a long time. Very well done. Thank you for putting all the time and effort into it! I bought the Seauto Crab second-hand and was glad to see a demo of the basics and even some interesting details. Thanks again! Now my quest continues. I noticed 2 types of these, 1. just vacuum more for above ground pool, 2. Vacuum & scrubbing for in ground. Why I don't get if they climb walls and stairs why not incline pools because they all have shallow and deep ends

Yes...but no saltier than 5000 ppm; which no one should have a pool that salty. Also, rinse with fresh water after use. My pool is actually a salt pool.

This machine does great work although the charger stops working for many of us in about 2-3months. The company online takes many weeks to replace it for you. Very frustrating after paying that price!

Yes, it works great, sorry to hear about your charger issues...hopefully, I am lucky enough to not develop that issue (definitely past 3 months now)

...there are reviews of users using it in above ground pools and say it is fine and its selling info even says in-ground or above ground...however, there are also a handful of reviews saying to take caution as it can damage the liner of the pool...so may depend on the quality/age of the above ground pool

It may seem like it, however, a full clean cycle gets the job done.

if still under warranty, and after return period from which you purchased...I recommend starting the RMA process with Seauto

The ONE thing I wanted to see was HOW to connect it to the app and turn itOn floor mode only, I can NOT get mine to connect to the app

...at the time of the video Seauto didn't even have the app to even try to connect. Since your comment, I checked and now see that the app is available. I didn't run through the whole process but I went all the way to the point where the app see's the cleaner where I can tap it and connect... are you having issue after this point?

Hi! No I haven't...I could not find it either, however, another KZbinr mentions they contacted the manufacturer and they stated they haven't officially released the app yet and then they provided him with a direct link to a beta version of the app to download. From what I remember it is a pay to unlock scenario...but since I haven't actually gone thru the process, take this info with a grain of salt... If you really want the modes, an almost identical version is sold by Smonet (model CR-6) that is generally $100-150 more with the only difference being the housing color, branding, and the modes available right out of the box; affiliate link here: amzn.to/3ypgyex

...how much time did you a lot them to respond? I find most company support departments that I've dealt with reply to email within 48-72 hours...longer if over the weekend...the most I've ever waited is maybe a week. Fortunately, I have not had to deal with Seauto support yet. However, my most current dealing is with Western Digital for a faulty SanDisk micro SD card and they replied on Thursday after submitting an RMA request Monday of that same week...

...not app controlled as in controlling its directional movement. However, according to the manual an app is supposed to be available to unlock the other modes... I couldn't find it on the Google Play store... and closest thing I found was on APKPure that stated the following about the app: The Seauto App allows you to: *Select the cleaning mode. *Select the moving speed. *Name your robot. *Turn ON/OFF voice alert of the robot. *Update firmware via WIFI, keep your robot up-to-date. And much more.

1st time using it and already got stuck on my in floor drains

...sorry to hear that, I haven't experienced it myself but I know it does try to "unstick" itself. There were a couple of times where I thought it stopped or was stuck...after a minute or two it comes back to life and unsticks itself. Looking at the troubleshooting in the manual it has a built in feature to float itself if stuck. If yours doesn't attempt to unstick itself, you may need to call support and possibly RMA it.

Aiper is world's top least reliable pool robot. I bought 3kinds($850, $380, $350), but they are no working after one year. Aiper robot life is one year. So I bought seauto one month ago. This price is just 30% than Aiper and much nicer!!!

Fake video for me, no leaves were really cleaned during the video, it just moves the leaves

You're correct, the leaves themselves were not cleaned, they were moved into the inner collection chamber of the robot to be disposed of after the robot's cycle completed.

Do not buy from this Seauto, when it stops working, and it will, you will have to buy a new pool cleaner from someone else. Seauto does not answer the phone, and will not answer emails not even the chat window on their web page. I bought a Seauto crab in June 2024. It work great for the first 6 months and then it didn't work at all. It's supposed to have a 2 year warranty. I have been trying to reach Seauto for a month now, and have not received any reply whatsoever. I guess i will have to buy one somewhere else in the spring. Very disappointing.

wow, sorry to hear that...if their customer service is that bad then their loss of customer base is their own fault. I have been fortunate enough to not have any issues (yet)...and hopefully it lasts the 2 years. If it breaks afterward, it would have been worth it...
