Hi David I am torn between the Pool Up vs the Nautilus Cc. I have a very standard rectangle pool 12 by 28 feet with a sun/tan pad. I don’t mind the work as in brushing the sides. I am just trying to see for the money what’s the best for the price and making sure it picks up your standard dirt that sits at the bottom like sand. Or would you prefer the plus over all of them ?

Hello! Between the Pool Up and the CC, I prefer the CC. They both work similar but the CC is much easier to empty debris out. The debris bag that loads from the bottom of the Pool Up gets annoying over time. It takes more time to empty and rinse out the bag as well as reattach it back onto the frame. The CC is much MUCH easier to empty. The CC also has a weekly timer so that's a plus as well. It's definitely worth the extra cost between the two. But then we have the CC Plus lol... and that's a big step up but even more worth it imo. It has a larger basket and is able to climb walls much better than the other two and even climb steps up to your tanning ledge even and clean that as well. I think that even if you're okay with scrubbing the ledge and waterline, over time, you might regret not paying the extra cost for the features the CC Plus has over the other two. Like, for me, I'd rather be overprepared than under. Unless price is important then, go for the CC. Hope that helps!

@@imdefinitelydavid I wanted the CC but was told the CC does not accept climbing rings. The CC Plus can use climbing rings but it's $800 and uses an app. I don't want an app for my pool cleaner lol. The Pool Up is offline, and comes with climbing rings for $500. They all have the same warranty....

There's actually two versions of the CC Plus. One has wifi that you must use the app to do things like set the weekly timer. Then, there's another version that does not use the app and comes with a different head unit control panel. I prefer this non wifi version if that helps. You control it physically on the unit itself, no wifi needed. Also, if you're looking at cleaners with climbing rings, then i assume you want a good wall climber. The Pool-Up is less expensive, but it does not climb nearly as well as the CC Plus does. Maybe that helps your decision.

Actually... not a bad idea. Sounds fun. I guess it's actually better than repeating other words over and over... it's actually like my f word for more emphasis when I talk 😃

What’s your all around favorite pool cleaner? There’s so many on the market now. If you had to choose only one, which would you pick?

If I had to pick just one right NOW, I'd choose the Dolphin Premier. It has everything I NEED for my pool especially the leaf bag which I love during Fall season. But wait! There's some totally new cleaners coming out this year with new tech. Tech I never thought was possible. For instance, a self-docking charging cordless robot(it docks in your pool and charges itself when it needs) or a robot that is a pool skimmer(floats on top surface skimming pool) but transforms into a pool cleaner(sinks down to floor to pickup debris) as well. So ask me again at the end of the year lol. It'll probably change...

Whoa! The new tech sounds super cool! I’ll definitely come back and ask at the end of this year to see what’s your favorite! I was wondering if you could do a match up between the Premier and the Sigma. Thanks!

I actually "lent" my Sigma out to an acquaintance/friend and haven't heard from him in a while... like he doesn't respond and I have no idea where he is lol. It would be a good idea to compare the two. They're essentially the same cleaner except the Sigma is newer with newer tech. Meaning the Sigma is basically the Premier but with smart features and online app use. It also has a gyroscope that keeps the Sigma from tipping over but it doesn't have the leaf bag the Premier does. Online app control is cool but I rarely ever use it. On the other hand, the Premier, I use the leaf bag all Fall season so it's more useful for me there with all my trees.
