Oh wow!!! I lived here for a few years way back in the day. You even rode past my beloved primary school on Muhoho Road. This place has really changed completely. It was mainly large two level residential houses and small unit apartments around the school. I hardly recognised the neighbourhoods around the landmark. Complete transformation in less than 20 years. South C shopping centre was the main attraction back then but it paled to insignificance in this video. Great video. The GoPro has really levelled up the content. Keep shining and blessing us with your good work. Thanks x

Kenyan-Somalis have really boasted the kenyan economy. Respect to our brothers & sisters. They have created huge employments opportunities . The diaspora remittances has also overtaken tourism ,coffee & tea foreign exchange earners. This what makes kenya a step ahead of all its E. African countries.

You always look at it in one sided way, Kenya was a powerhouse right from the start not just now bro, infact now things are hard for Kenyans bcoz of mismanagement by govt ,we could be far away Korea league, Somalis as well always fail to appreciate certain aspects in Kenya and Kenyans at large, that helps any country to grow, remarkable infrastructure that help things work out easier ,welcoming nature of Kenyans ,politics is not that far right hence conducive for them to be freely operate, political stability, ethnic cohesion ... Somalis unlike Kenyans cant welcome KENYANS in Somalia enmasse as Kenyans do, they perceive Kenyans with alot of animosity, how can a neighbor try to render another landlocked at the ICC ? NOT unless they hate You be gratefull to KENYANS don't bear grudges . peace and love is key to everything, thats why DRC ,Sudans , Nigeria ,Cameroon ,etc are failing in conflicts despite their rich recourses ...political intolerance is key....i can remember South Africa civllians ,Turkey and Demark kicking out some of their refugees form their countries , be grateful to KENYANS for peace ,political tolerance and enabling environment for other nationalities to thrive as well...

@@BBZoneasembotop10 @BB Zone I agree with most of your points, brother, and let me enlighten you about it, Somalia used to be a great nation until 1991 when the government was overthrown, since then somalia have been ravaged by long civil wars for 3 to 4 decades, and most of the population are youth. A lot of them were born and brought up on these difficult times, no proper education, law, and order. As the country is rebuilding itself and improving things will change and I see good future ahead for both of the countries and East africa in large. So, as Africans, let's accept each other and put aside our differences and work together to improve our lives.

The building s look beautiful but once again nobody is making sure that there is room for trees. It looks like they are trying to make Nairobi more arid and hot. With the city not being the wettest zone, we should continue to make it more green, especially the residential areas. I remember going to school and climbing zambarao trees to get fruits. This is poor or unplanned development.

Could we develop Nairobi outwards rather than upwards, because we are creating congestion? These infrastructures that were planned for a certain population are suddenly overwhelmed by 4 to 5 times that number. Could we just keep them as were supposed to be and grow satellites? Study London you only allowed outward growth to retain structural and population support capacity. Nairobi was originally planned on that model.

Development is taking place in kenya where locals have access to jobs and local industries are given an opportunity to produce (cement, windows, machinery, lighting) to furnish all these buildings, but your concern is where is the $ coming from?? Would you prefer kenya to stay where it was 30-50 yrs ago?? Pls answer me. I left kenya 35 yrs ago and when I went to my small town, it extremely sad to see no improvements at all. Actually the town regressed. Is this what you want?? I think your fear is the people doing the development (somalis) and not your tribe.
