What's that have to do with the offense not scoring more than 20 points in any big game all year besides 22 vs Dallas? we scored 20 points 1 time at buffalo, the other 5 big games we scored 19 points or less on offense. Those Ups drivers played better than the guy you want to pay 50 million. The score was 19-7 in the 4th qtr of that playoff game. How is that on the defense? It wasn't 1 or 2 games at the end, we wet the bed all year vs good teams.

Tua will get 53 to 56 million and Tua doesn't do his own negotiations . If Miami don't Pay him several other clubs will. Tua may prefer the Fins for many reasons but he won't stay if he don't get Payed.

Dolphin should not make a new compatible deal like Detroit's Jared Goff. Jared played well at times in play-off games and a Super Bowl. Goff can throw the ball harder and farther. Rather, the Dolphins should bump up Tua's current deal from $23 million to $35 million for this year. Add a second year with guaranteed money acceptable to both sides slightly above franchise tag. A temporary compromise. Why? Questions remain from Tua's games at Baltimore, Buffalo and Kansas City? Think this fair. One the other hand, every year delayed will cost the club more as the salary cap rises. Dallas is the poster child of cheapness. Won't pay their stars. Contract going to expire and owner Jones complains every time that player costs are going up.

You would crucify Tua for going 2-3, guaranteed. Tua's played four years and only two in a legit NFL offense. We can check back in after Tua has played 8 years, like Goff.
