I'm Finnish but thx to my family I've been listening to Kent since I was 6, almost 2 decades now. Vapen och ammunition is one of my favorite albums ever made.

Thanks for checking out more Kent. I can't help but imagine that songs like these are less impactful, and might seem more "boring" without understanding the lyrics. Because part if the melancholy and emotion is subduedly conveyed through the lyrics. But anyway - Kent is really good at combining mood, melancholy and emotion with both a slick sound and a slightly rougher edge. They are also fairly good at adding unique and catchy flavors to their songs - such as the whistling here. Whistling as such isn't common for them, but several songs have similar audible spices that make them stand out and be special. The song you heard at the end is indeed FF, another good song from this album which is filled with good songs, and for me is second only to the album Du och jag döden (You and me, death). From _those_ albums - e.g. 400 slag, Romeo återvänder ensam, Palace and main, Klåparen, Kärleken väntar, FF, Sundance kid, Socker.

One of the greatest bands ever! Swedish-Finnish co-op. I remember their last concert in Finland, we were in a "tent", like 20 000 people in Helsinki. They just stopped making music, when they were on the wery Top!!!

They were big here in Denmark and also all over Scandinavia as far as I know. I wasn’t one of their die hard fans, but they sure had a lot of great songs. Seems like they got played on the radio all the time for like 15 years or so.

Oh dear me! I would definitely not even call them Sweden's greatest band - just an average band with mostly boring songs. I am personally glad they disbanded - listening to their music always annoyed me for some reason.

A fantastic song with Kent is "Idioter" not the most famous song with them but one of the best. The band has tons of amazing songs😊

Even in Norway this band was BIG! Remember going to one of our bigger festivals, and one of our bigger rockstars Morten Abel Exclaimed: "What a warm-up-band!" referring to Kent who played before him, since they had at the time the setlist had been released put out the album "Vapen och ammunition", which this song came from. It became a big hit! Also loved "Hagnestad Hill" which came out before. FF was the song you heard a snippet of. Also a very good song!

❤️ What I love the most about kent is the lyrics. It’s often from ”the villains perspective” - I hurt you, I take up all the space, I betrayed a friend, You could do so much better without me - sort of lyrics. Selfdistanced, ironic, melancholy, and with a sense of humour. Very swedish.

I used to listen so much to their album, Isola. Many good songs on that album. They used to get so much airtime here in Norway so I got a bit tired of them, but they do know how to write catchy songs.

The song that follows the video is called FF. Great band (and reaction), always very popular in Finland as well, partly probly due to the fact that half the band were Finnish Swedes. :) Kent did couple of albums in English, but for some reason they are just not as good as the original Swedish versions. Songs to try? Max 500, Kärleken Väntar, Om Du Var Här, Töntarna.

Awww I havent heard this since it came out maaany years ago😍 I used to listens lot to the cd this song was on. Its a great tune🥰 thank you for reminding me of Kent. I had forgotten how much I loved listening to them. (Its also practical that they sing in Swedish as I can understand it pretty well. ) I can even sing along to the lyrics, it just came back like that😀 Along with Kent at that time I also listened to the Swedish band Infinite Mass. Thats a total different music though.

The Lyrics to this song is Epic.. and the feeling in the music sets the tone.. // Since you seems to enjoy great music with a lot of feelings.., I`d suggest some more great productions.. Laleh- "Live Tomorrow" ( A Beautiful song + lyrics) or "Some die young" .. also a huge Classic song over..

Nice! Even if you don´t understand swedish there still are many interesting details in this video. The white tiger - the bands home town Eskilstuna had one in the zoo, the Stockholm skyline etc.

Kent had a 25ish year long career and their sound evolved a lot during this time. It became more electronic towards their final years. This particular song is one of my least favorites to be honest. The song at the end that you were looking for is called "FF" and is from the same album as this song you just heard. That particular album is from 2002, so their sound changed quite a bit over the following 10-15 years. A couple of suggestions that I prefer personally: Kent - Var är vi nu (Where are we now): kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5ywZmhuoMR3Ztk Kent - Den Sista Sången (The last song): kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmqplaSKjamaack The title "Den Sista Sången" is quite appropriate since it's the last song on their final album. Not really a die-hard fan of Kent so I can't be 100% sure, but that song at the end of the video sounds very familiar and is almost certainly another one of theirs. Don't know the title though, sorry. But there are a few songs by Kent that I do love. "Töntarna" is probably my favourite (not sure what the word for "töntarna" is in English, but I think "the geeks" or "the wimps" are pretty close). The video is really cool! It features students from Höghammargymnasiet, a school for young people with special needs. I think I recommended it after your "Då som nu för alltid" reaction, but It's worth recommending again.
