After going through a good REP with my family and my youngest 2 YO Son, I wanted to take the time to break down what I am actually carrying in the hopes that it helps YOU prepare for a future scenario. Remember I want you to be better right away. Do not waste time at upgrading your mind-set, training, and gear. You never need these things until you do... When I posted on Instagram about the event that took place, I was flooded with questions about what to carry and why, I hope this video helps you rethink your current gear and you take it a bit more seriously than before. Thank you for watching and here are the links that will help you get the right gear!!
You can sign up for RELOAD lists for our gear here:

Love your products! The things I’ve bought from you have ALL been items that are highly functional, purpose built, and truly makes it more feasible for the average person to carry everyday. That being said…..WHEN WILL WE SEE THE BAGS AND THE ADAPTIVE X JEANS return?? I’ve got plenty of tools to use for med and defense but I really would love to have some of the products YOU designed- to carry them!! I wear the belt everyday but the bag and adaptive X pants I’m dying to get! I currently use Vertx for those needs, and I love that company- but I’d really like to get a bag and the adaptive X stuff because I love your products! Plus I’m an hour away from you- I’d have no problem driving there to pick it up lol.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE FEEDBACK! The Jeans/Denim are in stock now!! We are working on several small batches soon and the bags are getting a new production plan as we speak. I tried to keep them made in the USA but having a hard time finding a good solution that will be efficiently priced. Still working on it!!

Hey brother, early on you bring up a good point, that was reps with medical gear. Many don't know but a lot of med gear has expiration dates. As gear expires I always mark it with big bold letters "FTO" meaning For Training Only. Then I use my FTO gear for getting those good reps and becoming familiar with the gear. The industry makes training blades and training equipment for firearms but rarely medical equipment.

Awesome video sir! I saw your pocket dump on the SRS interview and man, you completely changed how I look at EDC! I'm working on an EDC video series and you are one of the first ones I'm planning on covering. I'm such a huge fan of your blades as well and of course being from Arkansas, I absolutely am in love with the Razorback! Great advice on the medical kits, I like the modularity! Keep em coming

Hi Dom. Have you checked out RATS TQ? Good for kids, pets and adults. Just a fan and carry one
@tcmcdaniel86
@tcmcdaniel86 5 ай бұрын
I was really wanting to know what that tq was from the srs edc pocket dump. You said you could get away with using it on your kid. What is the reason you might not be able to? Because it won’t synch down small enough for a child’s arm? That’s the main application in my mind for the rats tq. I’d love to here your thoughts on that.

Do you teach your kids to just take a deep breath or when do you elevate to teaching box breathing? Do you recommend training it, like with visualization, or do you just reinforce it when there is an incident? Another tool to consider adding to the kit is a LifeVac, which is very effective at removing airway obstructions in choking patients. Of the medical emergencies which can be very effectively treated without advanced care but have a high probability of death without intervention faster than EMS can arrive, there is bleeding and choking. Tourniquets for bleeding, LifeVac for choking. Heimlich is like CPR without an O2 bag, it gives you something to do, but it doesn't help as much as you would like. LifeVac is more effective and also prevents a lot of physiological trauma, which is especially concerning for the young and old.

Is the trauma kit in the back compartment mounted differently than the pistol? If pistol is stored vertically for access sitting with bag at the feet as mentioned is it being drawn past the trauma kit up and out. If it’s mounted for access at the bottom then that’s not an issue but I assume still there’s two different panels in the back for the pistol and anything else? Would love to see a breakdown of the everyday / average load out. Consecration to St. Joseph is a great read.

What do you do with the other strap if the bags in sling mode? What would be a good recommendation for a med kit?
