The Dynamis Blade was designed for on and off duty use. Inspired by Warriors through their collective experience in close quarters battle and combatives. The blade is cut from 80CRV2, an extremely tough and wear resistant steel. The overall cutting edge is 3.75″ and is offered in a single or double edge. The customized and sculpted micarta handle is a perfect fit for both reverse and forward grip fighting. The full grip is ideal for both bare and gloved hands. For added grip, jimmping was placed on the thumb ramp, under the hilt, and on the pommel. The Dynamis blade is an easily concealable combative blade that transitions seamlessly to a professional working environment.
Forged proudly in the USA and hand crafted by Winkler Knives

Keep up the good work bro! Some of your work has been the catalyst for me to grow in areas I didn't know about. Love the asset and armrup work! I've been following you from very early on and I have a request: Dom can you PLEASE try and make it on Stew Smith's tactical fitness report (youtube). He's a former team guy, and so many people like myself who are aspiring to go into more advanced careers listen to him for physical fitness advice. I think it would be a force multiplier if you showed up, spread the good word, and just shared whatever it is you'd like. Thanks man, god bless! -Dillon

Whats interesting is the steel choice. 80CRV2 is a non-stainless carbon steel. It won't hold an edge as well as a powered steel nor is it rust resistant (0.60% Chromium). This steel will rust and requires quite a bit of maintenance to prevent corrosion. Whereas, Amtac Blades Northman for example uses M390. M390 is a premium steel that far exceeds 80CRV2 in both edge retention and corrosion resistance. It is also stainless. Yet the price point for the Northman and the Dynamis Blade are relatively equivalent, i.e. 450.00. I do like the blade shape and sheath of the Dynamis Blade but I would never, ever pay 450.00 for 80CRV2. AUS-8 outperforms 80CRV2 in terms of corrosion resistance. Though AUS-8 is stainless whereas 80CRV2 isn't. Nevertheless, I would suggest to Dynamis that it update its steel to something comparable to M390 and maybe then you are in the ballpark. I'd personally go with either S35VN for a Stainless or 3V for a tool steel. Though S35VN is my favorite stainless, I believe 3V is the best all around knife steel. But again great design by Dom Raso. Very well done in that department.

I'm not so sure your critique of 80CRV2 is accurate. Lots of custom makers use it because it's an incredibly tough steel, yet easy to sharpen. Winkler makes these knifes and he uses 80CRV2 almost exclusively and has been quoted as saying about it, "When I find a better steel(than 80CRV2) I'll use it". Coming from Daniel Winkler, that's saying a lot! James Helm, no slouch as a knife maker either, prefers using it as well. M390 has slightly better edge holding than Elmax. And 80CRV2 has superior edge holding to Elmax. I believe you are way off on your estimation of the properties of 80CRV2.

@@ericsierra-franco7802 not in the tests I have seen. In fact 3V far out performs 80CRV2 in terms of edge retention and corrosion resistance. Moreover 3V is easy to sharpen. They started out using 3V then went to 80CRV2. I like high carbon steel. I’m a 1095 guy and 80CRV2 slightly edges out (pun intended) 1095 interns of edge retention but no way is 80CRV2 considered premium nor is it worth a price point of 500.00. I am also a fan of 80CRV2. I have three fixed blades made of 80CRV2 two of them are custom but not even in the ball park of 500.00. It’s very durable and holds a good edge but it will rust. It’s corrosion resistance is like any other carbon steel it’s chemistry my friend. Like I said it’s a good steel but it’s not premium and certainly not worth 500.00. I love the Dynamis blade designs. Absolutely love them and I do carry a blade almost solely for self defense. It’s the price point that is out of the ball park.

Nice blade, but over $500 dollars is not worth it. I have carried a Gerber boot knife for over 35 years, and it is probably the best tool I ever bought for under $50. Most knife enthusiasts/soldiers want to own a lot of different knives, and one knife over $500 dollars makes it tough financially.

That handle is very similar to the SCHRADE 59 and other SCHRADE handle's, which are great in all weather's, but just read in the comments its 400+ dollars, I know quality costs, you pay peanuts & you get monkeys! But it must be putting it out the range of the average Joe who collects knives or potential customers who want a decent knife but find 400+ dollars a bit steep.Should come with a sheath and lifetime warranty for that money. Nice, but nothing special, i.m.o.

It’s really not. And it’s 100% worth every penny. The material quality, the time and thought put into the design, the dependability, and the ability to take and use it in almost any scenario be it either overt or covert makes it an amazing blade abs by far my favorite and most uses. It costs a pretty penny but I guarantee you won’t regret it.

@@d.a.harlan7015 I understand that it is made of quality steel and that it's also a great design, but it is definitely not worth $400+ dollars, brother. When Jim Behring (Treeman Knives) was still making the Ultra Phalanx, they were selling for around the exact same price as this knife and that's definitely a much more practical fighting knife - especially in a real-world combat situation. The Dynamis Blade is more of a "get off me" weapon; which is very similar to the Benchmade SOC-P Dagger in that aspect. I could never justify spending over $250 on a weapon like this any way I look at it. Sure, it can definitely get the job done, but for a fixed blade of that size and with that little of material, it's being sold in the same price range as Microtech's OTF knives and as much as fixed blades (Treeman, Grayman, MercWorx, etc) that are of superior quality IMVHO.

@@WWJD799 I’m not sure you understand the purpose of the blade then. The blade is designed to be much more utilitarian and applied to be used in a lot more than the SOCP dagger. And the design of the sheath allows it to be carried in any situation. Dynamis specializes in concealability and adaptability. This blade is by far and away the best one on the market for that. Are there bigger blades out there that you could use specifically for fighting? Sure. But you could effectively conceal and carry them like you can the dynamis blade. Also when it comes to the quality, I would put any blade from Winkler Knives up against the ones you mentioned. His work as a blade smith is unquestionable and the quality and design shows with the dynamis blade. In the end man carry whatever feels best and works for you, but this blade is 100% worth the cost.

@@d.a.harlan7015 I completely understand the purpose of the blade, and it's definitely not worth $400+, brother. That's all I'm saying. The Dynamis Blade is a great knife and it's amazing for what it is, but you can get yourself a TOPS Baghdad Bullet (or similar) and it will serve you the exact same way while saving you $300+.
