Kind of sucks too because now people just clump those idiots in with other Raps fans who weren't happy to see it at all. I also like to think that it was the NBA Finals where tickets were mad expensive, so most of those people probably haven't been to an NBA game before in their life and aren't actual fans. its the opposite for me, think about this if those guys retire, would you ever watch the nba again? from your response it would be a no, because their not their anymore, what I am saying is, if their not their, appreciate the teams and guys you have in the nba today, not everything is hype, no one knew who curry was, they always followed lebron kobe kd and now look we appreciate a guy that came out of nowhere, there could be a guy in the league right now that can be like curry and you would not notice, because you focus on the same popularized guys

not a KD, Nets or Warriors fan, but I still feel he got too much hate for that. the only criticism I have of the move is that he joined the team that beat him. I'd have to imagine that from his point of view, it's very tempting. Westbrook is a detriment and all about his stats, while being too immature to focus (look at 2017 playoffs for example). Meanwhile, the warriors are a system that he'd fit perfectly in. He can get scoring opportunities off of a great player like curry, who will also get him the ball, and will play off ball to make things easier for KD. They can play off of each other. There was a system based on ball and player movement. Meanwhile, OKC had no system, and two star players who can't play off of each other. when KD gets the ball, everyone stops and watches, especially westbrook. When westbrook gets the ball, it's either a rushed shot or a turnover. I'll admit he didn't HAVE to go to the warriors, but he'd only leave the thunder to win, so why not go where you have the best chance to do so?
@phitran53363 жыл бұрын

Let's be honest, no matter what KD does for the rest of his career he will never be top 5. You have to think about what legacy is, it's a combination of skill, accomplishments, and the path you walked. He has the skill and accomplishments locked up but when you look at what he did with the warriors it's impossible to respect his "rings", he didn't earn them, the toughest series they had was a conference Finals against the rockets in which they should've never been down 3-2 in the first place, which by the way shows how great KD isn't (no that's not a typo). KD by some is considered the best player in the league, or at least was. But how is that possible when he never proved himself as the best player in the league? Kobe proved beyond a shadow of a doubt he was the best, Lebron proved he was the best, Jordan proved he was the best, but with KD all he did was win the finals with the greatest team ever and people just start calling him the best when he proved nothing. His "rings" are meaningless and weightless, they hold no value. Anyone who disagrees is a KD fan, or just delusional. KD as a player I've lost all respect for, he's a first ballot Hall of Famer no doubt but I myself have hard time even putting him in the top 10.
@connoravila53323 жыл бұрын
@Okevin Riley i dont think its the same. The Warriors were already the best in the league, the dynasty was already there and KD joined. Very understandable take.. But hypothetically speaking, if he were to win a couple rings with the Brooklyn nets after coming off an Achilles injury, that could make some ppl forget about what he did with the warriors It will also prove that he never needed the warriors to win a championship and that the warriors needed him more than he needed them

@Okevin Riley Lebron did not go to a team where no one could compete, Lebron did not go to the already best team in the league and make them 10x better, Lebron did face adversity, he did have challenge, there was competition. LeBron also proved while on a team with Chris Bosh, and Dwade he was head and shoulders the best player in the league, when faced with adversity he rose to the occasion instead of being saved by 27 missed 3's. Game 6 against Boston, games 6 & 7 against San Antonio, the entire 2016 finals. KD has no such moment he just created a god squad and won, in fact up 3-1 KD choked. There wasn't a single opponent that could go toe to toe with a healthy warriors team at their best, that is undisputable. It doesn't matter what LeBron's motives were going to Miami, what matters is what you did vs what you didn't do. You can criticize Lebron all you what but he's proven countless times that if he's not the GOAT, he's damn sure the runner up for that title. KD is no where close, he has never even been the best in the league. Saying any of LeBron's rings have no value is straight ignorance, he had to fight for everyone of them, and again KD did not.

@Okevin Riley and what has Jordan won without Scottie? What has Kobe won without shaq, or pau? Name a who didn't have a good supporting cast but won a ring.

@@younggggggg some people will forget sure, but anyone not blinded will see through the fog and know the truth. If he manages to win with Brooklyn those will matter, but it won't take away what he did before. That is unforgivable.

I dont think anyone hates him now idk. I feel like some people just stopped hating bc there was more to look at. Kd not being active for a year and covid happening and all the playoff action that we witnessed ultimately made people forget about kd. I could be wrong but i dont think anyone hates kd that much as much as 2016-2019. Maybe a salty okc fan but thats all i could think of in all honesty

The celtics and the nets have had the best presentation during the preseason and every team should do the same

KD is a top 12 player of all time. With all his stats and accolades and skill set, i don't see many players ahead of him. 1 one more in Brooklyn, he will be on my top 10 list. KD is the best offensive player ever and a under rated defender. In this year's preseason, he looks like his back

i mean KD's comparison was tracy mcgrady coming in which was pretty accurate

Wow that was a great non fan boyish video which actually showed how great of player KD is with also giving us a look into what could have been going through his mind. I would like to see you do the same video for LeBron going for his 5th titles, the Clippers trying to bounce back from last year and the same for Giannis

Ppl forget that 1st year Kevin went to Warriors. Khawi & Jonathan from the Spurs were killing them especially 1st game of season & that 1st playoff game before ZaZa took Khawi ankles. I’m not even a Spurs fan but they were capable of beating Warriors

Do steph curry or Jimmy buckets. Those would probably be the top two storied players in the nba right now

As a Warriors fan (and someone with a moral compass) it makes me beyond mad to see all those fans waving at 17:07.
