Tbh harden proved that him moving to a new team got his team into that chip contention conversation for the last 3 years+. One the other hand...kyrie just distrusted chemistry and proved he ain't that alpha/leader as of yet. But replace kyroe with any top 10 pg or sg...the nets would still be the championship team

They traded a contract-expiring , getting older Ibaka for two good young players that ended up being all stars. Gave em both away for 2 season of Brick George 😭

2 things. Harden took the money instead of the team in OKC. He's got all the money to buy stuff, but no rings. Second. Water under the bridge like earth underneath the rocket. I'm stealing that.

Sam Presti deserves credit for being a great GM. Curry's 44mil 4yr deal created the Warriors dynasty. Scottie getting lowballed created the Bulls dynasty. Harden got his bread, but no rings. Even KD took less than the max with GSW. DWade took the lesser out of the Heatles as well. I personally have always believed that Manu Ginobli was one of the best players to never win MVP. He has rings though. Plenty of cash I'd imagine to. Harden could have been him to Russ and KD's Tim and Tony routine but he wanted mucho dinero to spend at strip clubs and on Rappers birthday gifts so here we are 😆

It’s gonna be real interesting what a ring does for Harden’s legacy. We might realistically have to call him a top 5 shooting guard ever

IMO a ring will solely put him #4 all time, but right now he’s potentially sitting around 4 - 6, depending on who you asked 🤷‍♂️

@SK a ring won't put him over wade lol cause that will still depend on how harden performed to earn that ring and even if harden won FMVP him and wade would still be debatable
@winter9242

@SK this just proves you didn't see wade in the finals maybe you're one of those people that think 06 finals was rigged due to wade shooting x amount of free throws lmao and are you sure it's only defense wade is better at? Wade is a much better slasher than harden but okay just ignore that and let's not forget why wade wasn't able to win an MVP. After 06 him and his team were plagued by injuries and let's not act like pre big 3 d wade had consistent help. And 4 times better? Okay guess the pistons and celtics were just scrubs then

Hardens holidaying in Las Vegas doing the club thing,.. James's ego gets in the way of himself becoming great in my opinion. Too many TV interviews showing off his mansion, his car collection, his watch collection, red carpet events and then all the extras behind the scenes. My opinion.

People say Harden treated Huston like shit, but honestly, harden pretty much revived Huston and put them on the map. Ignore the jersey sales, his "The beard" brand was and is still heavily synonymous with the Rockets. He made them enough money so the least they could do is let him go when he felt it wasn't enough.

Calling james harden's playoff exits against the warriors failure is absolute insanity, that warriors team was the greatest of all time, they had 4 all stars, the rockets had 2, the fact they were even able to compete with them that well was highly impressive, the hate for harden here is astonishing

James Harden should've won MVP over Russell Westbrook in 2017. He averaged nearly a triple double, and he led the Rockets to a better record than the Thunder. Like Dom said, many didn't even think Houston would be a good team that year.

Correction: the Rockets wanted to play micro ball ever since 2018-19. They just knew it was DAntoni’s and Morey’s last year in 2020 so they let them go out on their terms. They also traded Clint because he was gonna be out for the rest of the season
