*Important correction* Elgin baylor scored 71 for the Lakers, and should've been on this list. For some reason, basketball reference's player game finder only searches as far back as 1964 and he did that in 1960, so it didn't pop up. That is before the merger, but it still counts in LA history I'm pretty sure.

Thanks for noticing the omission from this video for many Lakers franchise stars to scored at least 50 points or more. I was about to tell you that you mentioned Ceballos, but not the hall of famer Elgin Baylor? Anyways, you notice it. Also, you should mention that George Mikan scored 50 or more points in 4 regular season games in his career while playing for the Minneapolis Lakers including his career high of 61 points.

My pointless stat of the topic....d wade in 2009 was top 7 in total assists top 2 in total steals and led the NBA in scoring ...and had the 2nd best per behind only LeBron at 30.4...lebron was 31.4 ....not to mention he led a team that was 15-67 the year before with his hurt to 48 wins...without shaq...and a game 7 of the playoffs....my point is that's absurd after a huge injury...wade isn't given enough credit for that season...oh did I.mention he was 16th in total blocks...and average...at 6'3 being the only guard or player under 6'7 on the top 50 list...maybe even more but I can't seem to find s top 100 list..that's absurd ....he also added 5 rebounds and shot 49% for what its worth

Like there's been times where analysts have said something along the lines of "He's the first person to average 29 points per game, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, with a steal and a block on 50% shooting with 40 touches playing on the second night of a back-to-back. Like wtf

He is a dominant right hand player. He hasn't played with his left as his dominant hand since he was a kid. Y'all making something it isn't. He can use both but not interchangeably. Just like all of us. Looking back I can't think of one REAL ambidextrous player that can just switch hands depending on the circumstances so effortlessly and instinctively. If you could do that THEN are you only an ambidextrous player. able to use the right and left hands equally- Definition I'm very sure if you told Lebron to shoot a 100 3pt shots with his left vs right as he already his a mediocre shooter his left hand shooting would be significantly worse than his right

Elgin Baylor scored 50 points or more 17 times with the Lakers (none of which were since 1963 so they don't show up on the basketball reference player finder). One of those was a win over Wilt Chamberlain's Warriors where Wilt scored 78 points, the record for most points scored in a loss (that was also before 1963 so it isn't in the basketball reference game finder). Elgin scored 63 in that game.

Gervin had so score 50+ or so points to regain the scoring title on the only hours later....and he did.
