I built a custom Dome Cabin. Using the hubs from a playground geodesic Dome. I replaced the struts with longer ones. It is built into my mountain approx 6 ft high in front UNDER THE DOME. Re risers run from 6' to -1 ' into the mountain. It has a split-level floor with an upper deck. I Love it ! Wulf

How hard do you feel building a 5,000 square foot pyramid home with multiple floors would be? I'm feeling a bit crazy for 2021 might try to pull one off if possible and in my budget. Upload a video on your dome cabin too.

Enjoyed the video. Is there calculations for a double wall pyramid? Looking for something that can be built bottom up without a crane.

I like the Dome best! It seems like the pyramid has wasted space due to the slanting walls! Also any upper level would be smaller than the lower level! Also, the ceiling of a dome seems higher inside when you enter. And it is a stronger structure than the pyramid needing no inside supports!

I am enjoying your videos on domes. I agree that the dome is better but it doesn't seem fair that you made straight sides around the perimeter. The true dome seems to start one course up from the ground, which affects the usable area inside.

Which one do you like? The dome would probably stand up under high winds. Do the plants grow different ?

Did you ever end up drawing up plans for the pyramid? I checked you site and didn't see them.

Here in New Hampshire, USA, were I to build the pyramid, I would put it on at least a one meter base in order to aid in shedding snow. That is one advantage of the dome. My wife prefers the pyramid for style, but I am partial to the dome. We shall see. I have plans for a connected system for a green house as well as a lumber storage facility. Dangerous thoughts, I know.

Corners in any rectangular building have more wall surface area to the outside per floor area, and so they are the coldest parts of any house in winter. But if you love your square beds, tables, etc., then stick with the rectangular design. Besides, how many builders do you know that can design and build houses without corners as cheap as rectangular ones? With the event of new CAD operated 3d printers, you can design any shape and lay it down layer by layer. Conventional building materials will have to go in the future. Save a tree and make it fire proof!

Same power if same sacred measurements are used, Energy vortex fill the interior Exept the base corners of the pyramid, How ever the pyramid ener energy is multiplied from king point to queen Point then from queen Point to the head of the pyramid shooting like a laser beam, In the dome also vortex energy inside no corners so it fills the entire space, now it depends on the grounding depth also the energy heart inside it or the energy generator inside it, also it shoots by all the outer surfaces area avery wide beam, More tests need to be done but still depending on the quartz crystal heart you put inside them, Hope I explained it we with my poor English🗣️ For more about quartz check out doctor vogel

Can build two pyramids and combined it connecting both to make more spacious.
@rogerjensen5277 Жыл бұрын
Both are interesting structures, I'm assuming that both are being covered by a plastic film since pieces of glass cut into triangular shapes would be very expensive! The dome would be seem to be more difficult to built (more exacting angles) and placing a vertical support pole in the center would give (in addition to greater snow load) better strength for placing horizontal cross pieces for the purpose of hanging potted plants up high(er)! The Pyramid could be constructed more simply by instead of using triangular shapes use vertical studs with cross pieces attached internally and horizontally inside of the vertical studs. Longer wooden pieces and fewer joints (which are always weak points) take advantage of the strength of long fibers in the wooden studs! I believe that a center support pole would also provide more structure to hang potted plants. Assuming (from the diagrams) that the first level of the dome is about four foot tall and that the first level of the pyramid is one foot tall, what would be the difference in internal space if the first level of the pyramid was also four feet tall. If you keep the overall height of the pyramid the same and increase the angle of the rest of the walls, wouldn't this increase the internal space without sacrificing more structure strength? Lastly, what is the purpose of the extra structure on the pyramid, please excuse me if you already explained and I missed it!

Plumsmuglers A cone wouldnt add any benefit over a dome. Actually its worse because can't utilise as much of the floor area. Was looking for something close to the benefit of the rectangular base but with the self supporting aspect of a dome. Something other than a box!

resistance to strong winds , sunlight distribution indoors , air circulation , building costs must be reviewed and nature prefers domed like spherical shapes because of having minimal potential energy you cant find pyramid like planets or celestial bodies
