It would have been better if you used a sealed ball bearing on both side, this will prevent water to penetrate to the rolling metal balls in case the mechanical seal damaged.... Omar/Jordan

You are rong handle pump set then duble zz bolebering is origanel but you are using normal bolebering.bering fixing methad is rong. All spere clean in kerosin or desel.use proper tools in proper places.filing gress in Bearing proper methods.use proper table for asemble pump.
