Great review. I don’t mind the 12v cords being left bare. You can hard wire the cables or put on a plug of your choosing relatively simply. For fridge 12v power requirements, you just can’t go past the 3 way fridges. They are very efficient running on gas, but you would not want to run the fridge overnight on your lithium battery.

I was actually contemplating getting one of the 3 way! Something a bit left of field. Or I almost went the Engel but it mentions can work on slops up to 30 degrees no other fridges mentioned angles so put me off.

Very accurate review as you know I have the crx80 in my canopy with a offgrid set up. Agree with 3 to 4amps but fridge able to hold temps in extreme heat. No bushmans or kings able to do that. Recently tested 48 degrees in canopy freezer -13 fridge 4 degrees on 3rd setting.

Thanks for the comment Andrew, yep very hungry but hey if it works in the heat it's a win from me! Do you ever run yours on 240v then swap to 12v? I noticed there is a delay is the 12v cooling, fridge goes up to 8-10°c before starting to cool again. Weird.

The CRX has now been replaced by a new model called the NRX.

Push the metal tab at the top over to the right (above the locking tab) and will completely seal the unit. Tab on the left is made to vent when the fridge is off to prevent mould
@Off.Track4x49 ай бұрын
Hello mate, vent is not set to vent and still has play I checked all the sizes at BCF and they all have play inbetween the latch. Not sure why my 65L two years ago didn't.

Lovely ep and fridge. but I have found with any fridge that works good in hot weather in the back of a canopy or back of a wagon,. that gets from 40 to 50 degrees in there. All chew power Ive got a 50lt Kings chest fridge freezer set on -15 or 0 it uses 3.7amps running, I have a 95lt Gekco upright it has a 27lt freezer in the top with its own door and a 68lts fridge in the bottom with its own door, Freezer will freeze to -15 and bottom 0 it uses 6,5amps. I have a 100lt trailBlazer it freezers to -15 and it uses 6,5amps too, its why I run 2 x 140amp lithium batterys.

Thank you for the Comment Andrew. Man 6.5Amps that things is going for it! But I guess big fridges. The issue with the domedic is it uses that power draw even in 23°c the over night usage is insane. But I'm am happy it works in the heat.

Ok I watched ElNick on Utube, there on the road full time They hate the 65lt Domedic as everything in pops out on corrugations and you can not open the door. @@Off.Track4x4
