from what i understand and seen people talking, you can cancel crownless' transformation right at the beginning without needing to land a single hit, because you get the buff at the start and that's what matters when choosing him over dreamless

Also, buffing camellya’s dmg instead of just doing the echo dmg is much better. Dreamless is only good on rover.

Yep, this is true. Crownless transformation can be cancelled and you'll gain 19.5% Havoc DMG Bonus and 12% Resonance Skill DMG bonus right after even if it is cancelled. So yeah, for Camellya as a selfish damage dealer, Crownless is better than Dreamless

3:20 I feel like her Liberation will actually be a massive part of her gameplay, since she has 150% bonus ER on all her attacks outside budding state. So you would use the Liberation, do your attacks, and by the time you get to budding state you'll probably have it ready again, especially since she only needs 125 energy. And since it takes two attack combos to drain her forte gauge, I would probably be swapping to Sanhua and getting her outro right before Camellya hits max concerto so you can get that Basic buff on her Ephemeral and budding state. The outro lasts 14s so you wont really be able to take full advantage of it for her budding state if you do it before her entire attack cycle. That said, you could also probably do it at the start then swap and do it again before concerto is full to have the buff for the entire rotation.

Looking at her kit, the fact she needs to be on the field for a longer time than most, and the fact that her Outro skill does damage rather than just give a buff to the incoming, it wouldn't surprise me if the Lingering Tunes set with 2 x Havoc 3 cost echoes works out as equalin power to the Havoc set, providing an alternative option to crownless/dreamless setups.

As much as some people would have mixed feelings if the Havoc set isn't BiS for her, I think it would actually be a good thing if Lingering Tunes was actually best or extremely close in performance. Pretty sure everyone has a ton of Lingering echoes lying around because it's almost always inferior to elemental echo sets, so a chance to use them and not feel like you're missing out on performance would be amazing. Also I always seem to get good rolls on that set and garbage rolls on sets I actually want lmao, maybe I'll have a cracked Camellya. Well, assuming I can win the 50/50 :,)

So what are your thoughts between sanhua vs danjin for her? Personally I’m leaning towards sanhua right now but I’ve got her at s6 and danjin only s2, but maybe I’ll have more copies after pulling for Camellya we’ll see

I'm also in the same boat, as my Sanhua is s6, and Danjin is s2. If you're using Sanhua, then most of the damage is coming from Camellya, however if you're using Danjin, it's more of a dual effort. Sanhua will buff her total damage by alot more, but a well build Danjin can potentially contribute more. I'll be using Sanhua, because it feels more smooth I feel.

Keep in mind Danjin's outro buff is only 23% havoc deepen while Sanhua is 38% basic attack deepen. Unless you have a really stacked Danjin (+ quick swap tech w/ her to be explored) or use Sanhua with Encore for another side, I'd recommend Sanhua probably. 20% atk bonus on S6 Sanhua is also nice, but well Danjin also has it at S6

Highly depends on your preference, but if you're up for using a high risk high reward playstyle, then Danjin all the way.

Sanhua likely wont be her best partner for a while....unless you are talking about F2P options....the leaks for 2.0 show a 5 star havoc sub dps who buffs havoc and basic attack damage

can you rate my pre farm on camellya? its on danjin btw Havoc dmg bonus:70.0 Er: 109.2 crit rate: 43.1 crit damage :312.1 sword: changli's signature (blazing brilliance) using dreamless, two havoc dreadmane, glacio prism, havoc prism, all on crit rate crit damage all my maximum materials and shell credit's check i skipped the others bc my danjin is on level 60 so it ruins it kinda and all my echoes are on sun-sinking eclipse

As Eevak says, I agree. One thing to note tho, you can't use two havoc dreadmanes. Both will not count for the 5 piece set. Unfortunately you're going to have a raise a different 3 cost echo. Great job so far tho! I'm still missing one piece myself 😔

Danjin S6 or Sanhua S4 as the preferred partner?

Danjin would be better, but use who you're more comfortable with, because they are very similar in strength for Camellya. Danjins s6 is adding a teamwide 20% atk buff however, so thats a decent plus.

@@VoidEnigma tested both out. i think my overall damage output is higher cause sanhua is way less field time than danjin so i get camellya's intro much faster. also danjin requires too much skill lol sanhua is so much easier to use

Crownless is better because you straight up get the havoc dmg bonus without needing to finish off the animation of the echo. Dreamless takes longer to execute and the 50% dmg bonus only works on Rover so crownless is the better choice. It is just like using tempest memphis vs thundering memphis. Tempest memphis is the superior choice. Tempest memphis allows you to swap off, getting the dmg bonus immediately. It also finishes the animation although your character is already swapped off. I am not sure if crownless finishes the attack if Camellya is swapped off. If it is, dreamless is just bad choice. Really bad choice. It is a no brain Crownless>Dreamless.

You can't just swap off Tempest. You still need to attack again to get the second hit as it does not happen automatically, and the second is where you get the buff.

Yeah, its definitely worth using. What I mean is, it is only used there for damage, and has no additional effects. Definitely similar to Jinhsi. Plus, you'd never want to skip that animation...

Definitely Sanhua. Zhezhi's outro skill buffs resonance skill damage, which isnt useful at all for Camellya.

She is the most damage bonus skewed character in the game, all 3 versions of her skill do basic attack damage, so only her liberation and her normal form charged attacks do not benefit. This means getting basic attack damage bonus is super rewarding as pretty much everything is getting a damage increase

No, her heavy attack is also considered Basic Attack as part of her inherent skills. So it is ONLY Liberation that is not Basic Attack.

Thanks! 88 cr /239 cdmg is technically better. If you are using Shorekeeper, you can consider the set with more crit damage, since shorekeeper gives a decent amount of crit rate.

if youre playing with shorekeeper probably the 65cr one. id go for the higher consistency if playing with verina, probably. though both will probably be fine. im not sure which support is actually better for her. if youre not outro with her into shorekeeper it means shorekeeper doesnt get her intro attack and she also has to take even longer on field. Verina can get in and out significantly faster under those conditions.

With all respect and i know that this is only your opinion but how is dreamless better than crownless when she’s a hypercarry dps which required high on field time,with crownless you can just turn it on and dodge and gain free 12,5% havoc damage,why bother to swap dreamless when it doesnt even deal that much damage cause camellya isnt a resonance skill user?

It does come down to preference. Either way that 12.5% havoc bonus is a decent boost, but it's not that major in the grand scheme of things once all of the buffs are factored in. It is technically her better option, but I like dreamless because it can kill of smaller enemies and juggle them (and I totally don't feel like raising a crownless echo from scratch). The clear time may change by a few seconds, so it's not a big difference

I also have a decent dreamless and also does not planning on farming another crownless from scratch so i completely agree with you on that but still,the way you put it in the video make it sound like dreamless is a better option overall which might confuse people if they encounter other content creators who saying that the crownless is better,i think next time you should put up the pros and cons of each echo and put it like “if you have a decent dreamless then there’s no need to farm for crownless,however the crownless overall is still slightly better than dreamless so if you havent prefarm for camellya yet then you should go for crownless” instead of claiming the dreamless is better,anyway this is also just my opinion,who know? Maybe when she’s launched the dreamless is actually the better option maybe? (the video was really detailed and easy to understand especially her mechanic and how she work,keep up the good work!)

@ hey,i just got camellya and 2 of her sig (10 rolls for 2 sig yay!) and fully maxed her out and use her to clear full crest of the hazard tower,just wanna say that you might be right with dreamless actually is better than crownless even if it’s just a slightest, you were right and i were wrong in the end!,i don’t know if whether is it my skill issue or is it dreamless is actually better but overall dreamless is still much easier to use for rotation and stuff for me and that definitely is a plus! Your visions are so good! You just gained a sub and my full respect!

I am probably full minority here but I expected so much more cool kit or attack animations. She is the n20 char that spends half her time in the air and colors the whole screen with flashes to a point that you cant see what you are doing. She could have been so much cooler with vines that grab small enemies and suck the lives out of them. or in case of bosses grow vines on their body that tear parts of them. her attacks should be also more whip like and graby like in the custcene. Ima gonna skip her and play havoc rover or Danjin.

Funny you say that. She did actually originally have an attack that grappled enemies and pulled them towards her or her towards them. So, the fact they changed it from that means they won't add it in again.

If you have heavy attack bonus on echoes or buffs, it wont buff Camellya's damage. Only Basic Attack dmg bonuses will be counted.
