From 3 years into our biomedical journey with severe nonverbal Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Hi everyone! My son had a very, very severe nonverbal, self-injurious autism until the age of 5 as you can see in the video. This video starts out with us actually 2 years into our biomedical journey, I was never going to give up. It wasn't easy by any means, but now I am so happy to say it was all 1,000,000,000% worth it.
Some of the most life-changing protocols we used were The Gaps Diet by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride. The Gaps Diet is a six-stage elimination diet that heals leaky gut, detoxes heavy metals and other toxins naturally, reduces inflammation, replenishes a healthy microbiota, and so much more. It needs to be customized to the individual, but is so so healing when coming off a Standard American Diet of disturbingly high-in-sugar processed foods, GMO's, pesticides, artificial flavors, etc. I also found that detoxing our home and lives as much as possible was very important, down to the diapers my son wore that would give him rashes, the laundry detergents we used, the water we drank, everything we put on our skin, inhaled, etc.. I also found tremendous success applying many principles from The Law of Attraction into my life, and essentially working on my own mindset, raising my emotional frequency, having tremendous amounts of faith, changing the language I was using, and creating positive belief systems to name just a few.
We also worked with an incredible doctor as shared in the video, and found many other incredible people to help us along the way. I will be forever grateful and plan to post more updated videos soon.
Even more exciting, I became a certified GAPS (Gut and Psychology/Physiology Syndrome) Coach and have been helping other parents all over the world implement this diet with miraculous results. I've even worked with doctors and nurses that have had more success with my protocol than anything else they had tried, including stem cells!
I also host a large community group on FB called SpectrumABLE, I love working with parents all over the world 1:1, and have created 3 DIY courses for helping parents implement healthier diets, cleaner environments, and more positive mindsets.
If you have any questions, or are looking for more support on your journey, I invite you to call or text me at (808) 868-1468. I would be happy to answer your questions and help your family thrive! I am offering free 20-minute support calls, 60-minute consultations, and I also have a variety of DIY courses available on my website to help other parents implement evidence-based dietary changes, detox their lives & homes, and improve their mindset & belief systems at www.spectrumable.com
I look forward to helping you believe in yourself, and to believe in your child, and thrive!

Great video! It's beautiful to see a momma taking action and doing whatever it takes to heal your adorable boy! I wish more parents were like this. I think that as a society, we have to stop trusting conventional doctors because they are really failing us when they tell us we have these chronic ailments that we need to accept because there's no cure. Sorry for the run-on, lol. I'm curious to know if testing for parasites is a common practice among doctors working to heal autism? Someone in my family has Aspergers and she had a gluten allergy that was causing rashes, diarrhea and severe anxiety/mood swings. She had to be on a very strict gf diet for years. We were both on a health kick last year and did an herbal parasite cleanse. Much to our surprise, we both had tons of parasites. To make a long story short, after a couple months of the cleanse she attempted to eat gluten and she had absolutely no allergic reaction. We were both shocked. She now eats gluten all the time and is fine. I have since learned as much as I could about parasites. They are quite fascinating, and EXTREMELY common. There is even a parasite that can cause a gluten allergy. I've also learned that parasites and infections like Lyme can play a role in autism for some individuals.

It's not just a product, it's an entire lifestyle change and hard work. That's why there's so much backlash, since many parents simply don't want to put in the work & give up. A DAN Dr. or Homeopath or Naturopath in your area could run the proper tests to see what vitamins & nutrients your child is lacking and see what levels of toxins are in their body & help eliminate them, but then most treatments include B-12 shots, Glutein, Dairy, Casein, Sugar, MSG free diet(GAPS Diet). There's also been rave reviews about CBD Oil, Hyperbaric Oxygen & MMS treatments.

Start speech therapy if he suffers from any language difficulties. Support parents and reassure them. Remember the earliest they start the therapy the better. It is not a disease. It is a gift but u need to wrap it properly to live peacefully in this world. Happy days.

@SpectrumABLE
@SpectrumABLE 2 жыл бұрын
no
@Vgallo
@Vgallo 2 жыл бұрын
@@SpectrumABLE why not? We’ve just got our son into one of the more prestigious aba schools where he gets a few different therapists looking after him at once and cuz I live in Australia it’s all funded by the government, so it costs us nothing to give him the best care. Although now that the feeding specialist gave us a vibrating spoon which sensitises his mouth, we’re able to get soo much more food into him and his whole demeanour has improved almost 100%, I’d say he’s happy almost 4/5 out of 7 days a week, he’s starting to read spell and write letters at 2.5 and thrives on learning new things, the aba school said he was extremely intelligent but is lacking in social skills, they said though if they can direct that intelligence towards him learning social skills then he has the potential to become indistinguishable from neurotypical children and attend a normal school, which is apparently the best predictor in determining positive life outcomes. I know not everyone is so fortunate, we are very lucky our son has come so far in the last 6 months, especially when he was just like your son 6 + months ago, but from all my research aba provides the best results and the best hope, although a lot of people are misinformed about aba, it os not draconian or barbaric like many are lead to believe, the therapists have actually helped me understand how to better interact with my son, by being patient and looking for the signals he transmits to declare he’s ready for outside interaction, so they are extremely gentle, caring and kind, I mean I’d much rather these professionals try to correct my child’s problematic behaviours, than have my son struggle right throughout his life and have those that have no idea about autism force those corrections through criticism and other kinds of bullying, which is what is going to happen, whenever his parents are not there to protect him from the majority of the public that have no idea about autism, I mean everyone faces these kinds of behavioural corrections from Society whether they understand this or not, this is one of the utilities of social conventions- they are not arbitrary as many naive analysis’s conclude. So yeah I can’t really see why aba gets such a bad rap, especially when people don’t take into account how difficult there autistic childrens lives will be if they’re not able to have normative behaviours - you can’t expect the world to change for a small minority of people - not only is it impossible because autistic behaviours are counter intuitive to everything most neurotypical people have learnt throughout their lives, you can’t just reverse everything you’ve learnt - although as parents we can learn new ways to mitigate this issue - but fir those that don’t have autistic children, it’s impossible, social science has concluded it’s impossible for those that don’t have these experiences themselves to imagine what it’s like, so it’s naive idea to assume that the world can change for our autistic children - as nice as that would be, sometimes I think parents let their own worldviews get in the way of what’s most pragmatic and beneficial for their children, they want the world to conform to their Rosey and naive interpretations of how the world “should” be, I see so many children harmed by parents ideology, particularly single mums, for whatever reason ime they seem to harm their children more than any other groups l, perhaps it’s just my anecdotal experience, but I can’t help but wonder whether the fathers would push back if they were actually involved with the raising of their children and therefore balance out the philosophies that effect and shape their child. So yeah I’d be interested to hear why you haven’t tried aba? Is there something I’m missing?

My son was nonverbal and in diapers until age 6. He was one of the more severe cases I've ever seen personally. And now at 9 years old he is very high functioning, many of his issues have gone away completely, from nonverbal, in diapers, at age 6 with daily injurious behaviors and constant screaming, I would not call that mild. Diet and detox changed his life. Within 6 months on GAPS diet and detox protocol and working with Dr. Green for supplements and testing, he became fully potty trained and started speaking in sentences. It took a lot of hard work and determination. :) It was worth it.

Autism is not something that needs the Cure. You said honestly teach your child and yourself to accept into love him as he is rather than trying to force him into the mold that you think he should be because frankly it's damaged in two children with autism to constantly be told how they do things is wrong simply because it's not the way you do the same. People are individuals to spite what snowflakes think

That's just a theory it has not been proven. All you have to do is run some labs on your kid to realize they are sick and inflamed. Due to many things like pathogens, environmental toxins, inflamation and food sensitivities. It's all these lazy parents letting their kids become Adults in pain which they can't communicate. @@christinewebber7924 Who likes seen a child suffer in pain for six hours screaming? Screaming means pain or frustration or both. No they can't communicate if they have been abused, you are wrong. Yes they have ways of communicating screaming, crying, hitting, hurting themselves.. That simply is not healthy whether they have a lifelong condition or not. This is why parent's stop believing unproved theories by lazy doctors. A child can be born with a disability yes, but a child that harms himself and others and screams all day doesnt eat is noy healthy in anyway, these kids are normay chronically sick and most doctors brush if off as Autism. Autism is name given to kids who certain behaviors and developmentall delays but have no known cause. There is always a cause. I know more than 10 mothers that had severely autistic non verbal kids that became verbal and independent losing their autism diagnosis completely. How is this bad? What more proof do I need? Kids brain are neuroplastic can heal itself, DNA can be repaired too every 6 years, getting rid of your childs toxic overload, food sensitivities, pathogens including parasites will help you improve if not completely recover these kids. I go to a real and rare medical doctor that is very knowledgeable and is helping my son. My son use to be hyperactive poor eye contact, was completely non verbal now can say single words, he is interested in kids still needs to work in socialization, still is speech delayed, he follows simple directions, back then he couldn't understand anything I said. Stimming is almost gone not that it bothered me, his tics are gone, some of his rigid routines are gone, I can go shopping with him without having a sensory meltdown he is only 3.3, he plays with his toys instead of throwing them like he used to. We have a long way to go but I know he will be successful based on what my eyes have seen. To me it's a miracle. I don't understand you people who say it's not possible. Accept your child and allow them to embrace their autism and they will flourish. Talk with actual autistics. @@christinewebber7924 You can read and you can write you can function independently. Many kids will be in diapers for the rest of their lives. Quit being offended because parents want their kids to speak and be independent. There are kids that hit themselves and injure themselves all day and have to be medicated. Just because you are offended and supposedly autistic makes you have the right to tell a parent that wanting a better future for their kids is bad. Becoming independent functioning adults should not offend anyone. If your parents did nothing for you to improve your way of life even more than thats their problem. Quit trying to impose your will. There a new scientific studies that prove that these kids are full of toxins. No I don't hate autistic people or discriminate them I am just not going to let my child be in diapers for life and dependant on government institutions pilled up all day everyday in their adult life. Aspergers and Autism aren't the same. There are different levels of what they call autism! But these experts are clueless knitwits who could care less for these children. He does not say a single word. Since birth, we have problems with the gastrointestinal tract. We constantly have diarrhea and constipation. We are 2 months on gluten-free and casein-free. But this is not enough to save my son. I beseech you Lord God, write your therapy. I ask you to. What products did you exclude? What supplements did you inject? What broths? Time is the key. Your son could be fully recovered in next 6 months because he is young (brain plasticity). The older the child when intervention starts, the larger time is taken for recovery( I have references). After certain age some percentage of the disease may remain for lifetime. But how can you loose time? By following wrong protocols by just accepting somebody's suggestions. I recommend you to read as much as possible from scientific journals and books of renowned doctors. Also listen to parents also, but sometimes parents may be overly emotional to judge a certain aspect. Don't leave any stone unturned. My suggestion : For starters read the book Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPS) by Dr. Natasha McBride (Mother of autistic son) word by word 2-3 times and start diet intervention as early as possible. But be careful that the child does not become weak due to abrupt elimination of foods. First find alternative food, get him used to it then replace it in phases. I have been following GAPS diet for my son for the last 3 months and he is improving. After reading to lots of journals and books I believe (I have not tired it yet) that for a young child like yours Candida and Clostridia treatment should be a priority and Andrew Cutler Chelation should be followed at last (after at least 8 months of GAPS diet). Timing of supplements and medications are important. I am reading to learn this aspect. For yeast read book : Feast without yeast by Dr. Sermon Bruce (Father of autistic son) Andrew Cutler Chelation book: Fight autism and win ABA works Organic foods, No aluminium, copper utensils. RO water. 3 months back he could not hear and understand us. Also he could not see many things. He could not see a big dog standing in front of him, leave the piegons. Camel milk worked big time(Christina Adams research paper). Within a week, he started chasing piegons. Disclaimer: I am not a doctor, just father of a beautiful son suffering from disease called Autism. Please do your own research before implementing any of these. I hate word autistic. It is simply a disease ( a big disease), but I will not stop fighting until I recover him. And I dont belive doctors. I believed them when I let them vaccine my happy child and see what they did to him. I do my own study and wherever I will need medications, I will motivate them by showing the references.
