I think Dom was harsh on Kat because of his girlfriend (now ex) Sarah Hyland, I think she might have been jealous of other girls close to Dom in general, so to avoid fights with her, he would behave this way, if you notice in interviews he treats Emeraude the same way :/

I have a feeling when Dom says his fave scene is in episode 13, it's the one where he kills Hodge. He and Hodge are outside and the only other person Jace is with is Hodge. Of course, since the Wayland Manor might be in this episode, it might be that famous Clace scene.
