I grew up around the corner from don and nino and his family on bay 46 th street between harway and cropsey ave in Brooklyn . I knew them all real well and was close to them all there’s many story’s and a lot of memories... I go back knowing all the family since we were kids and Rossi ,Frankie, tommy, nino, dom , we use to play street hockey together on 27th ave right out side my house . Rossi ,tommy and I always played hockey together Lots of good memories if it wasn’t playing hockey on my block back then we hung out on bay 46th street which is where nino ,dom, Rossi,Frankie ,tommy and his family lived . The one thing that always stuck out in my mind was when big paul was killed on dec 16 1985 back then I was still alittle young but I do remember the meeting that they had at nino s house that night I believe it’s talked about in one of the latter books that was written afterwards, when it was said that dom was up in a attic window acrossed the street with a high powered rifle and nino told him if anyone walks out that door before I give you a sign from the doorway kill everyone that comes out . That was definitely without a doubt true . There’s many stories about where gotti was made boss and I can tell you it was definitely at ninos house shortly after Paul got hit in nyc . Hearing these stories from dom brings back so many memories of how things were back in those days , it’s sad to hear that dom has since passed he was a great guy if you knew him and he trusted you . He’s been through a lot between the war and then being as deeply involved as he was with the crew he was involved with . They say not made but dom was involved and trusted as if he was made and held in the highest standings there could be in that life and if anyone thinks differently man are they wrong . what I will say is this , I knew him and his whole family well Rest In Peace dom your thought of and missed a lot real sad that things arent like they once were back in the days , things sure were different and a whole lot better then they are now so much has changed but your friendship lives forever RIP DOM You were definitely one of the real ones

I was stunned to learn that Dom had left us. He did a wonderful thing for us by speaking honestly, truthfully and openly about his life. I wish I could have met him and take him to lunch. He led quite a life. RIP Dominick - You are in a better place with all the peace love and tranquility you deserve.

All the people that talk shit on Dom, Dont realize he is still a real deal and can kill you as quick as smashing a fly. I really enjoy these interviews of him, Because you get the real side of Dom. His pain and thoughts. I relate to him alot. Because my uncle lead me down a messed up path and everything he taught me to be honest, loyalty to your friends. He was none of these things. My uncle was a fraud. Of course its not on th level of Nino and Dom. But I believed and did whatever my uncle said. Now years later I see it and all the time wasted on a fraud.
