That's something I would love to do, but historically I know that to be trying to focus on expansion content when there are A lot, can really slow me down

My favorite thing about this app is that they made the smart decision to make the base game free, and only one player needs to own an expansion to play with other friends who only have the base game as long as the player that owns the expansions starts the game. It is fantastic!

Whilst I generally much prefer physical boardgames vs digital ones I do like their ease of setup and portability. I've played Wingspan on pc & android 1000s of times and find it the best one implemented. Many others suffer with their UI being less than optimised. I'll be interested to see how this one works out.

I got rid of Dominion years ago and the app brought me back into business. I think deck builders are the only board game genre where digital is actually better than cardboard because you can skip the shuffling part. Also with all those mega turns I think it is better to play against a capable AI than let a human player suffer from those endless chains of actions.

I have over a thousand plays of this app. It's solo vs AI is just so good. I've played all 4 versions of the Dominion apps over the year and this is by far the best. Love that I can own all the content, play it on any device, and start games with family with the full set.

If using a touchscreen PC, you may want to consider switching controls to 'Drag' to make for a more consistent experience across PC and mobile play. Title screen > ||| > Settings > Controls > Set to 'Drag.' Also, thank you for the kind words about the app!

When you host a game, if you go to “strictness” tab and press custom setting, you can choose to display score or not and a few other public information. The hard AI is hilariously brutal or I’m just bad at game. The biggest struggle for me is the price for getting the expansions especially that $100+ for all of them. I know it’s cheaper than physical copy but I can resell the physical copy. But it’s a very snappy and clean implementation for sure.

Well this was a really nice presentation of a wonderful digital adaptation of Dominion 👍 totally agree with everything you said... I'm currently enjoying to try to beat the hard AI 😅 I hope you'll continue trying out digital boardgame adaptations and review them for us in a kind of comparing video like this one 🙏

The newest implementation of eDominion is excellent. Love the physical card game, but it's great to play with friends online or against an AI (which you can't do physically).

No thoughts at all on the price? Sure, base game is free, but who plays base game Dominion? And then it is up to 120 €. For an app. Of course, it is cheaper than the physical games, but those are also, guess what, physical games with production costs and resell value etc. 120 € for an app is kinda nuts tbh.

120 is only if you need every single card. Most people don’t (at least from my in person experience).
