I loved Scout so much after playing with it a few times as a new player. That feeling subsided a bit with more experience of course, but it still has a warm place in my heart.

scout is tier 0 if both peasant and inheritance in the kingdom copium

Intrigue got way better with the 2ed... But instead of saving Coppersmith out of the 6 cards, I would save Tribute... Weak, but fun weak...

Shepherd and Scout have some synergy

I considered mentioning Shepherd while preparing the slides, I haven't ever played with those cards together but intuitively I figured it would just be worse than buying another Shepherd or Estate.
