I remember myself and my cousin watching this together and loving the ending song. I used to record the sound from a tape recorder and play it over an over. We used to love Manga and draw together. He introduced me to a whole new world. Push my imagination and creativity forward when I was only 10-12. My cousin passed March 2014, he was only 34. Man, youtube is fucking magic... I have a tear in my eye right now only remembering him while playing this over and over like in the old times. To anyone watching this video: We're all connected. OMG I did that as well. Back when there was only audio cassette tapes, and I would listen to it every day on the bus to and from school. I had this song, the opening and closing themes to Bubblegum Crash, the Oh My Goddess! OVA theme, the Lily C.A.T. end theme, the Akira end theme, the 8-Man After theme that Orion/Streamline used for their anime compilation trailer, Dirty Pair: Affair on Nolandia and Project Eden... I'm totally blanking on the rest. Feels like so very long ago... becuase yeah, it was. A quarter century in fact... guh, I'm getting old :P

Adding to the chorus of nostalgia. Back in the day when the channel first started the Sci-Fi Channel in the UK, would show anime on saturday nights at midnight and I would wait up every week to watch it and this was the very first anime they showed. I loved it. A lot of what they showed was frankly trash, but there just wasn't much anime available in the UK and Sci-Fi's midnight slot was just about the only place I could get my fix.

I saw this on the Sci-Fi channel's saturday morning anime slot when I was very young - probably still in elementary school. The music stuck with me for the rest of my life. I also think it was my first time seeing naked ladies before haha. It was all very enchanting and mysterious. It's touching that so many others were also moved by this tune and the anime.

I still have the DVD from US Manga Corps in mint condition. It goes for a lot now, been out of print for years. Always been curious to see the actual Japanese ending without the English credits or music. Even when you have the Japanese language on, the English ending still plays.

when i first saw this show in my early teens on the space network (canuckistans then-answer to the sci fi network) i was really impressed with it, especially the nude catgirls swimming in space in the outro lol. prior to that i had no idea that anything like that existed

Same experience here. It was so erotic, I hardly knew what to do with the information. 🤭 The nude cat girls swimming sequence was censored in the USA, though… I didn't see that sequence until Dominion Tank Police aired on one of the premium movie channels.
